This disclosure describes one or more trays for use in distillation columns. The trays include a plate having a plurality of through holes that extend between a first surface of the plate and a second surface of the plate. The plurality of through holes include a first set of through holes each having substantially a first diameter and a second set of through holes each having substantially a second diameter that is different from the first diameter. The trays also include a weir coupled to the plate and extending from the first surface. The weir is positioned between the first set of through holes and the second set of through holes.

What is claimed is: 1. A tray for use in a distillation column, the tray comprising: a plate comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, the plate having a plurality of through holes extending between the first surface and the second surface, the plurality of through holes comprising: a first set of through holes each having substantially a first diameter; and a second set of through holes each having substantially a second diameter different from the first diameter; and a weir coupled to the plate and extending from the first surface, the weir positioned between the first set of through holes and the second set of through holes; wherein the first set of through holes and the second set of through holes are configured to enable liquid to flow below the plate without use of downcomers. 2. The tray of claim 1 , wherein the first diameter is substantially 4.75 millimeters and the second diameter is substantially 12.5 millimeters. 3. The tray of claim 1 , wherein the second diameter is larger than the first diameter. 4. The tray of claim 1 , wherein the first diameter is substantially 4.75 millimeters and the second diameter is substantially 19 millimeters. 5. The tray of claim 1 , wherein the first diameter is between 4.75 millimeters and 12.5 millimeters and the second diameter is between 12.5 millimeters and 19 millimeters. 6. The tray of claim 1 , further comprising a second weir and a third weir extending from the first surface; wherein the weir, the second weir, and the third weir are positioned in parallel across the plate; wherein the first set of through holes are disposed between the second weir and the weir; and wherein the second set of through holes are disposed between the weir and the third weir. 7. The tray of claim 1 , further comprising a second weir and a third weir extending from the first surface; wherein the weir, the second weir, and the third weir define concentric circles; wherein the first set of through holes are disposed between the second weir and the weir, and wherein the second set of through holes are disposed between the weir and the third weir. 8. The tray of claim 1 , wherein a diameter of the tray is greater than or equal to 2 meters. 9. A tray for use in a distillation column, the tray comprising: a plate comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, the plate having a plurality of through holes extending between the first surface and the second surface, the plurality of through holes comprising: a first set of through holes each having a first diameter within a first range; a second set of through holes each having a second diameter within a second range different from the first range; a third set of through holes each having a third diameter within the first range; and a fourth set of through holes each having a fourth diameter within the second range; and a plurality of weirs coupled to the plate and extending from the first surface, the plurality of weirs comprising: a first weir positioned between the first set of through holes and the second set of through holes; a second weir positioned between the second set of through holes and the third set of through holes; and a third weir positioned between the third set of through holes and the fourth set of through holes. 10. The tray of claim 9 , wherein the first weir and the second weir are positioned in parallel across the plate; wherein the first set of through holes are disposed on an opposite side of the first weir than the second set of through holes; and wherein the second set of through holes are disposed between the first weir and the second weir. 11. The tray of claim 10 , further comprising a fourth weir extending from the first surface, wherein the third weir and the fourth weir are positioned in parallel to the first weir and the second weir; wherein the third set of through holes are disposed between the second weir and the third weir; and wherein the fourth set of through holes are disposed between the third weir and the fourth weir. 12. The tray of claim 10 , further comprising a fourth weir and a fifth weir extending from the first surface; wherein the third weir, the fourth weir, and the fifth weir define concentric circles or portions of circles; wherein the third set of through holes are disposed between the third weir and the fourth weir; and wherein the fourth set of through holes are disposed between the fourth weir and the fifth weir. 13. The tray of claim 9 , wherein the first weir and the second weir form concentric circles; wherein the first set of through holes are disposed outside of the first weir; and wherein the second set of through holes are disposed between the first weir and the second weir. 14. The tray of claim 13 , further comprising a fourth weir extending from the first surface; wherein the third weir and the fourth weir are positioned in parallel across a circle formed by the second weir; wherein the third set of through holes are disposed between the second weir and the third weir; and wherein the fourth set of through holes are disposed between the third weir and the fourth weir. 15. A system comprising: a distillation column comprising: a housing defining a chamber; and a plurality of trays positioned within the chamber, the plurality of trays comprising at least one tray comprising: a plate comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, the plate having a plurality of through holes extending between the first surface and the second surface, the plurality of through holes comprising: a first set of through holes each having substantially a first diameter; and a second set of through holes each having substantially a second diameter different from the first diameter; and a weir coupled to the plate and extending from the first surface, the weir positioned between the first set of through holes and the second set of through holes; wherein the plurality of trays further comprises a second tray that is positioned proximate to the at least one tray within the chamber; and wherein the at least one tray includes a plurality of weirs extending from the first surface in parallel across the plate in a first orientation; and wherein the second tray includes a second plurality of weirs extending from a surface of a second plate of the second tray in parallel across the second plate in a second orientation that is different than the first orientation. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the second orientation is substantially perpendicular to the first orientation. 17. The system of claim 15 , wherein a third tray includes a third plurality of weirs extending from a surface of a third plate and forming concentric circles that separate sets of through holes having substantially the first diameter from sets of through holes having substantially the second diameter; and wherein a fourth tray includes a fourth plurality of weirs extending from a surface of a fourth plate of the fourth tray and forming concentric circles that separate sets of through holes having substantially the second diameter from sets of through holes having substantially the first diameter.
