The invention claimed is: 1. An insulating device backpack, comprising: an outer shell comprising: a first sidewall defining a front portion of the insulating device backpack; and a second sidewall and a third sidewall defining side portions of the insulating device backpack, and a fourth sidewall defining a back portion of the insulating device backpack; an inner liner forming a storage compartment; an insulating layer positioned in between the outer shell and the inner liner; a back panel coupled to the fourth sidewall of the outer shell and a strip of binding material; a pair of shoulder straps coupled to the back panel and the strip of binding material; an opening configured to allow access to the storage compartment; and a closure adapted to seal the opening. 2. The insulating device backpack of claim 1 , wherein the back panel comprises an inner layer. 3. The insulating device backpack of claim 2 , wherein the inner layer of the back panel is compression molded. 4. The insulating device backpack of claim 1 , wherein the closure is substantially waterproof or water resistant. 5. The insulating device backpack of claim 4 , wherein the closure comprises a zipper. 6. The insulating device backpack of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of loops coupled to the outer shell. 7. The insulating device backpack of claim 1 , wherein the inner liner is formed of a fabric. 8. The insulating device backpack of claim 1 , further comprising an attachment panel affixed to the outer shell and configured to secure external elements to the outer shell. 9. The insulating device backpack of claim 8 , wherein the attachment panel comprises fasteners for attachment of the external elements. 10. An insulating device comprising: an outer shell defining a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a third sidewall, and a fourth sidewall, the second sidewall and the third sidewall defining side portions of the insulating device, and the fourth sidewall defining a back portion of the insulating device; an inner liner forming a storage compartment; a back panel affixed to the fourth sidewall of the outer shell and a binding affixed to the back panel; a pair of shoulder straps coupled to the back panel and the binding; an opening configured to allow access to the storage compartment; and a closure adapted to substantially seal the opening. 11. The insulating device of claim 10 , further comprising an attachment panel affixed to the outer shell and configured to secure external elements to the outer shell. 12. The insulating device of claim 11 , wherein the attachment panel comprises fasteners for attachment of the external elements. 13. The insulating device of claim 11 , wherein the attachment panel comprises one or more metallic elements configured to be removably coupled to one or more external magnetic elements. 14. The insulating device of claim 11 , wherein the attachment panel comprises one or more magnetic elements configured to be removably coupled to one or more external magnetic elements. 15. The insulating device of claim 11 , wherein the attachment panel comprises one or more metallic and magnetic elements configured to be removably coupled to one or more external magnetic elements. 16. The insulating device of claim 10 , further comprising a waist strap. 17. The insulating device of claim 10 , further comprising a plurality of loops coupled to the outer shell. 18. The insulating device of claim 17 , wherein the plurality of loops are coupled to the second sidewall or the third sidewall. 19. The insulating device of claim 17 , further comprising a bottle opener. 20. An insulating device backpack, comprising: an outer shell comprising: a first sidewall defining a front portion of the insulating device backpack; and a second sidewall and a third sidewall defining side portions of the insulating device backpack, and a fourth sidewall defining a back portion of the insulating device backpack; an inner liner forming a storage compartment; a back panel coupled to the fourth sidewall of the outer shell and a binding coupled to the back panel; a pair of shoulder straps, coupled to the back panel and the binding; an opening configured to allow access to the storage compartment; a closure adapted to seal the opening, the closure comprising a zipper; and a waist strap.
