What is claimed: 1. A floor box for housing electrical components comprising: a bottom wall having a first knockout and a second knockout; a plurality of walls extending from the bottom wall to at least partially define an interior and to at least partially define a central opening accessible to a user; a top plate connected to at least one of the plurality of walls; a first wiring compartment facing the central opening; a second wiring compartment facing the central opening opposite the first wiring compartment; a third wiring compartment facing the central opening opposite the first wiring compartment and positioned adjacent to the second wiring compartment; a first panel positioned in front of the first wiring compartment; a second panel positioned in front of the second wiring compartment; and a third panel positioned in front of the third wiring compartment, wherein the first knockout provides selective access to the second wiring compartment and the second knockout provides selective access to the third wiring compartment. 2. The floor box of claim 1 , further comprising a divider plate connectable to the top plate, wherein the divider plate includes a first region and a second region separated from the first region by a frangible connection. 3. The floor box of claim 2 , wherein the first region has a first volume and the second region has a second volume less than the first volume. 4. The floor box of claim 2 , wherein the top plate includes a slot and the divider plate includes a tab configured to be positioned in the slot. 5. The floor box of claim 2 , wherein the divider plate is positioned between the second wiring compartment and the third wiring compartment. 6. The floor box of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the plurality of walls includes a third knockout and a fourth knockout. 7. The floor box of claim 6 , wherein the third knockout provides selective access to the second wiring compartment and the fourth knockout provides selective access to the third wiring compartment. 8. The floor box of claim 1 , wherein the top plate includes a can and a leveler received in the can to adjust the position of a cover assembly. 9. The floor box of claim 8 , wherein the leveler is threadably connected to the can and includes a support element. 10. A floor box for housing electrical components comprising: a bottom wall; a plurality of walls extending from the bottom wall to at least partially define an interior and to at least partially define a central opening accessible to a user; a top plate connected to at least one of the plurality of walls; a first wiring compartment facing the central opening; a second wiring compartment facing the central opening; and a divider positioned between the first wiring compartment and the second wiring compartment, wherein the divider includes a first region and a second region separated from the first region by a frangible connection. 11. The floor box of claim 10 , wherein the first and second compartments are adjacent and the divider is connected to the top plate. 12. The floor box of claim 10 , wherein the top plate includes a slot and the divider includes a tab inserted in the slot. 13. The floor box of claim 10 , wherein the divider includes a first tab and a second tab. 14. The floor box of claim 10 , wherein the frangible connection includes a score line. 15. The floor box of claim 10 , wherein the first region has a first volume and the second region has a second volume less than the first volume. 16. The floor box of claim 10 , wherein the divider separates the central opening into a first portion and a second portion. 17. The floor box of claim 16 , wherein the divider includes a first section, a second section extending at an oblique angle to the first section, and a third section extending at an oblique angle to the second section. 18. A floor box for housing electrical components comprising: a bottom wall; a plurality of walls extending from the bottom wall to at least partially define an interior and to at least partially define a central opening accessible to a user; a top plate connected to at least one of the plurality of walls; a first wiring compartment facing the central opening; a second wiring compartment facing the central opening opposite the first wiring compartment; a third wiring compartment facing the central opening opposite the first wiring compartment and positioned adjacent to the second wiring compartment; a first panel positioned in front of the first wiring compartment; a second panel positioned in front of the second wiring compartment; a third panel positioned in front of the third wiring compartment; and a divider positioned between the second wiring compartment and the third wiring compartment, the divider plate having a knockout to provide selective communication between the second wiring compartment and the third wiring compartment. 19. The floor box of claim 18 , wherein the top plate includes a slot and the divider includes a tab inserted in the slot. 20. The floor box of claim 18 , wherein the divider is removably positioned between the second wiring compartment and the third wiring compartment.
