Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present disclosure relates to music user interfaces. A device, comprising a display and a rotatable input mechanism, one or more processors, memory, and one or more programs, is described. In response to receiving the first user input, the one or more programs may include instructions for ceasing display of an audio playback user interface and displaying a first user interface of a first set of user interfaces. While displaying the user interface of the first set of user interfaces, the one or more programs may include instructions for: receiving a second user input representing a directional swipe in a second direction and, in response to receiving the second user input, ceasing display of the first user interface of a first set of user interfaces and displaying the audio playback user interface.

What is claimed is: 1. An electronic device, comprising: a display; a rotatable input mechanism; one or more processors; memory; and one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs are stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for: displaying, on the display, an application user interface that corresponds to an audio application for playing audio content; while displaying the application user interface and playing the audio content at a volume level, receiving, via the rotatable input mechanism, a user input; in response to receiving the user input: in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to a first user interface in the audio application, changing the volume level of the audio content; and in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to a second user interface in the audio application, different from the first user interface in the audio application: ceasing to display a first set of one or more affordances in the application user interface and displaying a second set of one or more affordances in the application user interface; and maintaining the volume level of the audio content. 2. The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first user interface in the audio application includes an audio playback user interface. 3. The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first set of one or more affordances are organized categorically. 4. The electronic device of claim 1 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to the first user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a first direction, increasing the volume level of the audio content; and further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to the first user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a second direction, decreasing the volume level of the audio content. 5. The electronic device of claim 1 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to the second user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a first direction, ceasing to display the first set of one or more affordances in the application user interface and displaying the second set of one or more affordances in the application user interface; and further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to the second user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a second direction, ceasing to display the first set of one or more affordances in the application user interface and displaying a third set of one or more affordances in the application user interface. 6. The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first user interface in the audio application includes an affordance for pausing the audio content, an affordance for scrubbing within the audio content, and an affordance for skipping to next audio content. 7. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of an electronic device with a display and a rotatable input mechanism, the one or more programs including instructions for: displaying, on the display, an application user interface that corresponds to an audio application for playing audio content; while displaying the application user interface and playing the audio content at a volume level, receiving, via the rotatable input mechanism, a user input; in response to receiving the user input: in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to a first user interface in the audio application, changing the volume level of the audio content; and in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to a second user interface in the audio application, different from the first user interface in the audio application: ceasing to display a first set of one or more affordances in the application user interface and displaying a second set of one or more affordances in the application user interface; and maintaining the volume level of the audio content. 8. A method, comprising: at an electronic device with a display and a rotatable input mechanism: displaying, on the display, an application user interface that corresponds to an audio application for playing audio content; while displaying the application user interface and playing the audio content at a volume level, receiving, via the rotatable input mechanism, a user input; in response to receiving the user input: in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to a first user interface in the audio application, changing the volume level of the audio content; and in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to a second user interface in the audio application, different from the first user interface in the audio application: ceasing to display a first set of one or more affordances in the application user interface and displaying a second set of one or more affordances in the application user interface; and maintaining the volume level of the audio content. 9. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the first user interface in the audio application includes an audio playback user interface. 10. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the first set of one or more affordances are organized categorically. 11. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface is in the first user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a first direction, increasing the volume level of the audio content; and further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface is in the first user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a second direction, decreasing the volume level of the audio content. 12. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to the second user interface in the audio application and in accordance with a determination that the user input includes a rotation of the rotatable input mechanism in a first direction, ceasing to display the first set of one or more affordances in the application user interface and displaying the second set of one or more affordances in the application user interface; and further in accordance with a determination that the application user interface corresponds to the second user interface in the audio application and
