The invention claimed is: 1. A method comprising: receiving, from a merchant system, payment transaction data, wherein the payment transaction data comprises payment account data being utilized to complete a transaction with the merchant system; determining that the payment transaction data is devoid of voucher identifier data; in response to determining that the payment transaction data is devoid of voucher identifier data, querying a voucher data database based at least on the payment account data; retrieving voucher identifier data returned by the query, wherein the voucher identifier data corresponds to a previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher and wherein the payment account data was used to purchase the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher; and causing application of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher to the transaction. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the voucher data database includes associations of a plurality of stored deal vouchers with a plurality of stored payment account identifier data that identify a payment account used to purchase each respective stored deal voucher. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein causing application of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher to the transaction comprises: determining a current monetary value of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher; and transmitting deal voucher data, including at least the current monetary value and the voucher identifier data corresponding to the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher to the merchant system for application to the transaction. 4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising: receiving a voucher redemption notification from the merchant system, the voucher redemption notification including the voucher identifier data. 5. The method of claim 4 , further comprising: causing an update of the voucher data database to indicate redemption of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the payment transaction data further comprises one or more of merchant identifying data, product identifying data, or transaction specific data. 7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: determining whether the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher is applicable to the transaction. 8. The method of claim 7 , wherein determining whether the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher is applicable to the transaction is based on at least one of the merchant identifying data, product identifying data, or transaction specific data. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein querying the voucher data database is based at least on the payment account data and one or more of merchant identifying data, product identifying data, or transaction specific data. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transaction is associated with a product, the method further comprising: determining whether the product is associated with a second deal voucher, the second deal voucher having not been previously purchased by a payment account associated with the payment account data; transmitting an offer for the second deal voucher to the merchant system; receiving an indication from the merchant system to purchase the second deal voucher; and causing application of the second deal voucher to the transaction. 11. An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to: receive, from a merchant system, payment transaction data, wherein the payment transaction data comprises payment account data being utilized to complete a transaction with the merchant system; determine that the payment transaction data is devoid of voucher identifier data; in response to determining that the payment transaction data is devoid of voucher identifier data, query a voucher data database based at least on the payment account data; retrieve voucher identifier data returned by the query, wherein the voucher identifier data corresponds to a previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher and wherein the payment account data was used to purchase the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher; and cause application of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher to the transaction. 12. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the voucher data database includes associations of a plurality of stored deal vouchers with a plurality of stored payment account identifier data that identify a payment account used to purchase each respective stored deal voucher. 13. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein causing application of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher to the transaction comprises: determining a current monetary value of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher; and transmitting deal voucher data, including at least the current monetary value and the voucher identifier data corresponding to the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher to the merchant system for application to the transaction. 14. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are further configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to: receive a voucher redemption notification from the merchant system, the voucher redemption notification including the voucher identifier data. 15. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are further configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to: cause an update of the voucher data database to indicate redemption of the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher. 16. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the payment transaction data further comprises one or more of merchant identifying data, product identifying data, or transaction specific data. 17. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are further configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to: determine whether the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher is applicable to the transaction. 18. The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein determining whether the previously-purchased, unredeemed deal voucher is applicable to the transaction is based on at least one of the merchant identifying data, product identifying data, or transaction specific data. 19. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein querying the voucher data database is based at least on the payment account data and one or more of merchant identifying data, product identifying data, or transaction specific data. 20. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the transaction is associated with a product and wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are further configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to: determine whether the product is associated with a second deal voucher, the second deal voucher having not been previously purchased by a payment account associated with the payment account data; transmit an offer for the second deal voucher to the merchant system; receive an indication from the merchant system to purchase the second deal voucher; and cause application of the second deal voucher to the transaction. 21. A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium and computer-executable program instructions stored therein, the computer-executable pr
