Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A device or unit with a lighting component is provided. The device includes coupling components that couple the device to stackable storage unit containers. In one embodiment, the device includes a battery interface to couple to a battery for power tools. In one embodiment, the device includes three lights that are pivotally coupled to the housing between a retracted position in which the lights are disposed against sidewalls of the housing, and an open position in which the lights are pivoted above the top panel of the housing.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1. A container assembly comprising: a storage unit comprising: a first housing; a plurality of wheels coupled to the first housing; a storage space defined within the first housing; and a first top surface defined by the first housing, the first top surface comprising a first coupling component; and a lighting unit comprising: a second housing; a bottom surface defined by the second housing, the bottom surface comprising a second coupling component, wherein the lighting unit and the storage unit are coupled together via the first coupling component of the storage unit interfacing with the second coupling component of the lighting unit; and a first light coupled to the second housing, the first light configured to emit light when the lighting unit is coupled to the storage unit. 2. The container assembly of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of wheels are coupled to a rear of the first housing, and wherein the first light emits light in front of the rear of the first housing when the lighting unit and the storage unit are coupled together. 3. The container assembly of claim 1 , the lighting unit comprising a top panel pivotally coupled to the second housing opposite the bottom surface. 4. The container assembly of claim 3 , the top panel defining a second top surface opposite the bottom surface, the second top surface comprising a plurality of third coupling components, each of the third coupling components configured to couple the lighting unit to a bottom of a stackable storage unit. 5. The container assembly of claim 1 , the lighting unit defining a second top surface opposite the bottom surface, the second top surface comprising a plurality of third coupling components, each of the third coupling components configured to couple the lighting unit to a bottom of a stackable storage unit. 6. The container assembly of claim 5 , each of the plurality of third coupling components comprising a recess and two ledges that overhang the recess. 7. The container assembly of claim 1 , the container assembly further comprising a handle coupled to the first housing, the handle projecting upward from the first housing past the second housing. 8. The container assembly of claim 1 , the container assembly further comprising a plurality of third coupling components, each of the third coupling components comprising a recess and two ledges that overhang the recess. 9. The container assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a USB-compliant electrical outlet. 10. The container assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a storage compartment defined within the second housing.
