What is claimed is: 1. An article of headwear comprising: an upper crown portion having a bottom edge; and a lower crown portion disposed below the upper crown portion, the lower crown portion comprising a first layer of material comprising a first upper edge, the first layer of material comprising a portion of an outermost wall of the article of headwear; and a second layer of material comprising a second upper edge, the second layer of material comprising a portion of an innermost wall of the article of headwear, wherein the first upper edge and the second upper edge are both directly secured to the bottom edge of the upper crown portion, wherein an absorbent material is positioned between and in direct contact with one or more of the first layer of material and the second layer of material at least at a front of the lower crown portion, wherein: the lower crown portion comprises the front and sides; an upper edge of the front extends a first distance from a lower margin of the article of headwear; the sides each extend a second distance from the lower margin of the article of headwear; and the first distance is larger than the second distance. 2. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein the lower crown portion is secured to the upper crown portion at a seam line. 3. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the first layer of material and the second layer of material include a plurality of perforations. 4. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein the first layer of material and the second layer of material are formed from polyester yarns. 5. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein the upper crown portion comprises a single layer of material, and wherein the single layer of material is formed from a polyester yarn. 6. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein the absorbent material is a spacer textile. 7. The article of headwear of claim 6 , wherein the spacer textile includes a first surface positioned adjacent to the first layer of material and a second surface positioned adjacent to the second layer of material so that the first surface and the second surface of the spacer textile are not exposed. 8. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein the absorbent material is completely enclosed between the first layer of material and the second layer of material. 9. The article of headwear of claim 1 , wherein: the lower crown portion includes the front, sides, and a back; and the absorbent material does not extend along the sides and the back of the lower crown portion. 10. An article of headwear comprising: a crown; and a bill extending from the crown, the crown comprising: an upper crown portion comprising a lower edge, and a lower crown portion having a first layer of material and a second layer of material, wherein the lower crown portion comprises a bottom edge affixed to the bill and an upper edge secured directly to the lower edge of the upper crown portion at a seam line, wherein an absorbent material is positioned between and in direct contact with one or more of the first layer of material and the second layer of material at a front of the lower crown portion, wherein the upper edge of the lower crown portion comprises a first upper edge of the first layer of material and a second upper edge of the second layer of material, wherein the first layer of material comprises a portion of an outermost wall of the article of headwear and the second layer of materiel comprises a portion of an innermost wall of the article of headwear. 11. The article of headwear of claim 10 , wherein the lower crown portion forms a lower margin of the article of headwear. 12. The article of headwear of claim 11 , wherein: the lower crown portion includes the front, sides, and a back; the front of the lower crown portion extends a first distance with respect to the lower margin of the article of headwear; the sides of the lower crown portion extend a second distance with respect to the lower margin of the article of headwear; and the first distance is greater than the second distance. 13. The article of headwear of claim 10 , wherein the upper crown portion comprises a single layer of material. 14. The article of headwear of claim 10 , wherein one or more of the first layer of material and the second layer of material include a plurality of perforations. 15. The article of headwear of claim 10 , wherein the absorbent material is a spacer textile. 16. The article of headwear of claim 15 , wherein the spacer textile includes a first surface positioned adjacent to the first layer of material and a second surface positioned adjacent to the second layer of material so that the first surface and the second surface of the spacer textile are not exposed. 17. The article of headwear of claim 10 , wherein the absorbent material is completely enclosed between the first layer of material and the second layer of material. 18. The article of headwear of claim 10 , wherein the absorbent material does not extend along the sides and the back of the lower crown portion. 19. An article of headwear comprising: an upper crown portion formed from a single layer of material; and a lower crown portion, the lower crown portion comprising a first layer of material that comprises a portion of an outermost wall of the article of headwear, a second layer of material that comprises a portion of an innermost wall of the article of headwear, and an upper edge secured directly to the upper crown portion at a seam line, wherein the upper edge of the lower crown portion comprises a first upper edge of the first layer of material and a second upper edge of the second layer of material, wherein: at a front of the article of headwear, an absorbent material is positioned between and in directly contact with one or more of the first layer of material and the second layer of material, and wherein the absorbent material does not extend along sides of the article of headwear.
