The present invention provides a method for treatment or prevention of cancer through novel action mechanism, namely, through inhibition of a riboflavin pathway. The method for treatment or prevention of cancer comprises administering an RF pathway inhibitor to a subject in need thereof.

We claim: 1. A method for treatment of pancreatic cancer comprising administering an effective amount of roseoflavin to a subject. 2. The method according to claim 1 , further comprising administering an effective amount of trametinib to the subject. 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the effective amount of roseoflavin is administered alone as a sole pharmaceutically active ingredient. 4. The method of claim 1 wherein the subject is a human.
