Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Provided herein is an engagement and care support platform (“ECSP”) computer system including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device for facilitating senior user engagement. The processor is programmed to: (i) register a user through an application, (ii) register a caregiver associated with the user through the application, (iii) generate a senior profile based upon user personal and scheduling data, (iv) build a daily interactive user interface that reflects the senior profile, (v) display the daily interactive user interface at a first client device associated with the user, (vi) cause the first client device to initiate a daily interaction prompt to the user, (vii) determine whether any user interaction was received in response to the daily interaction prompt, and (viii) transmit a daily update message to a second client device associated with the caregiver, including an indication of whether any user interaction was received.

We claim: 1. An engagement and care support platform (“ECSP”) computer device comprising at least one processor in communication with a chatbot and at least one memory device, the ECSP computer device in communication with a first client device associated with a senior user, a second client device associated with a first caregiver, and a third client device associated with a second caregiver, the at least one processor of the ECSP computer device is programmed to: transmit data configured to cause a prompt to be presented to the first caregiver using the second client device, the prompt requesting a verbal input from the first caregiver, the verbal input including one or more reminder parameters to create a reminder message for the senior user; continuously monitor the second client device for a first caregiver user interaction with the chatbot including the verbal input; in response to receiving the verbal input from the first caregiver, create the reminder message from the first caregiver verbal input including the one or more reminder parameters; provide the reminder message to the chatbot, wherein the chatbot is configured to audibly present the reminder message to the senior user via the first client device receive, from the third client device, a second verbal input including one or more second reminder parameters for a second reminder message; create the second reminder message from the second verbal input including the one or more second reminder parameters; store the second reminder message and the corresponding one or more second reminder parameters; and provide the second reminder message to the chatbot, the chatbot being configured to audibly present the second reminder message to the senior user via the first client device. 2. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to cause an audio prompt to be presented to the first caregiver using the second client device, the audio prompt requesting a verbal input from the first caregiver. 3. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to instruct the first client device to present the reminder message on a screen associated with the first client device. 4. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the reminder message includes a reminder time designated as a time for presenting the reminder message, and wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to instruct the first client device to present the reminder message to the senior user at the reminder time. 5. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the reminder message includes a repeat option, wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to instruct the first client device to transmit the reminder message again. 6. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to instruct the second client device to present to the first caregiver an interface to enter the reminder message, wherein at least a portion of the reminder message is displayed on a screen of the second client device. 7. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to continuously monitor the first client device for a user interaction with the chatbot to receive a response to the reminder message. 8. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to transmit a calendar of events for the senior user to the second client device of the first caregiver for display to the first caregiver. 9. The ECSP computer device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to: receive a caregiver update to the calendar of events from the first caregiver via the second client device; and update the calendar of events based on the received caregiver update. 10. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the second client device includes a plurality of second client devices, wherein each second client device of the plurality of second client devices are associated with one or more caregivers of the senior user. 11. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the first caregiver includes one or more of a family member of the senior user, a friend of the senior user, a paid caregiver of the senior user, a person designated by the senior user, and a healthcare professional. 12. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to execute the chatbot to audibly interact with the first caregiver using plain language, wherein the chatbot receives an input signal captured by a first microphone of the second client device, interprets the input signal, generates an audio plain language response to the interpreted input signal, and responds with the audio plain language response via a first speaker of the second client device. 13. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the verbal input is directed to the second client device associated with the first caregiver and detected by a first microphone of the second client device. 14. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the second client device is in communication with at least one sensor and receives real-time sensor data from the at least one sensor. 15. The ECSP computer device of claim 14 , wherein the at least one sensor includes at least one of smart home device sensors, wearable device sensors, smart device sensors, mobile device sensors, or non-audio sensors. 16. The ECSP computer device of claim 14 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to monitor the real-time sensor data from the at least one sensor. 17. The ECSP computer device of claim 16 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to detect an input indicative of the verbal input based upon the real-time sensor data. 18. The ECSP computer device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to: access stored senior registration information for the senior; and access stored caregiver registration information for the first caregiver associated with the senior, wherein the caregiver registration information includes data for identifying at least one second computer device, wherein the stored senior registration information is editable by the at least one second computer device. 19. The ECSP computer device of claim 18 , wherein the stored senior registration information includes at least one of a name of the senior, a birthdate of the senior, a height of the senior, a weight of the senior, one of more task lists, one or more activities of the senior, one or more interests of the senior, one or more appointments, or one or more alert preferences. 20. The ECSP computer device of claim 19 , wherein the second client device further comprises a first display device, and wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to render a graphical user interface on the first display device, wherein the graphical user interface is configured to display prompt requesting a verbal input from the first caregiver. 21. The ECSP computer device of claim 20 , wherein the at least one processor is further programmed to in response to detecting the verbal input to a first microphone indicative of an audible command comprising a command to be carried out by the second client device, render the graphical user interface on the first display device indicating that the second client device has carried out the command. 22. The ECSP comp
