What is claimed is: 1. A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object, the portable electronic device having an opening, the security apparatus comprising: a locking head including a base, and a compressible element supported by the base, wherein the locking head is adjustable between an unlocked configuration, in which the compressible element is uncompressed and insertable into and removable from the opening of the portable electronic device, and a locked configuration, in which the compressible element is compressed and secured within the opening of the portable electronic device, and wherein the compressible element expands radially outward and engages inner walls of the portable electronic device when compressed. 2. The security apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the locking head includes a movable structure and an end structure, and wherein the movable structure moves relative to the end structure to compress the compressible element. 3. The security apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the movable structure moves linearly to compress the compressible element. 4. The security apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the end structure remains stationary as the locking head is adjusted from the locked configuration to the locked configuration. 5. The security apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the movable structure is positioned between the base and the compressible element. 6. The security apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the end structure is positioned on an opposite side of the compressible element from the base. 7. The security apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the base has radially extending stabilizing elements. 8. The security apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a lock mechanism coupled to the locking head, wherein the lock mechanism is operable to adjust the locking head between the unlocked configuration and the locked configuration. 9. The security apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a cable coupled to the locking head, wherein the cable is configured to engage the immovable object. 10. A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object, the portable electronic device having an opening, the security apparatus comprising: a locking head including an end structure, a movable structure, and a compressible element positioned between the end structure and the movable structure, the compressible element configured to be inserted into the opening of the portable electronic device, wherein the movable structure is operable to compress the compressible element when the compressible element is inserted into the opening to secure the locking head to the portable electronic device, and wherein the compressible element expands radially outward when compressed to engage the portable electronic device. 11. The security apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the movable structure moves toward the end structure to compress the compressible element. 12. The security apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the movable structure moves linearly toward the end structure. 13. The security apparatus of claim 10 , further comprising a lock mechanism coupled to the locking head, wherein the lock mechanism is configured to move the movable structure relative to the end structure. 14. The security apparatus of claim 10 , further comprising a cable coupled to the locking head, wherein the cable is configured to engage the immovable object. 15. The security apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the locking head further includes a base that supports the end structure, the movable structure, and the compressible element. 16. The security apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the base has radially extending stabilizing elements. 17. A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object, the security apparatus comprising: a locking head including a base, an end structure supported by the base, a movable structure supported by the base, and a compressible element supported by the base between the end structure and the movable structure, the movable structure movable relative to the end structure between an unlocked configuration, in which the compressible element is uncompressed, and a locked configuration, in which the compressible structure is compressed; and a cable coupled to the locking head, the cable configured to be wrapped around the immovable object. 18. The security apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the movable structure moves linearly toward the end structure from the unlocked configuration to the locked configurations.
