An air purifier includes a display mounted between a front panel of a cabinet of the air purifier and an upper panel of the cabinet. The front panel includes a door which is configured and supported to be drawn in to the cabinet toward the display or drawn out from the cabinet away from the display. A display module including the display is disposed below the upper panel.

What is claimed is: 1. An air purifier comprising: a cabinet having an opened front portion; an upper panel forming an upper surface of the cabinet; a door assembly slidably coupled to the cabinet by a rail assembly so as to open and close the opened front portion; an air filter assembly accommodated in the door assembly; a display module slidably coupled to the cabinet, positioned in front of the upper panel and configured to display operation information; and an electric plate disposed inside the cabinet and configured to support the display module, the electric plate including a damper assembly configured to control a moving speed of the display module, wherein the display module includes: an input unit; a display for displaying information; and a display groove positioned above the electric plate and forming a downwardly recessed surface, wherein the damper assembly includes: a gear; a damper coupled with the display groove; and a damper guide interlocked with the gear to guide a movement of the damper in a front and rear direction, wherein the display module is provided to move in a same direction as a direction in which the door assembly closes or opens the opened front portion, and wherein the display and the input unit are configured to be exposed to an outside of the cabinet even when the display module is moved. 2. The air purifier according to claim 1 , further comprising: a door panel forming a front surface of the door assembly, wherein the door panel is made from a same material as the upper panel. 3. The air purifier according to claim 2 , wherein the door panel and the upper panel are made from wood. 4. The air purifier according to claim 2 , wherein a front surface of the display module is configured to contact a rear surface of the door panel when the door assembly is inserted into the cabinet. 5. The air purifier according to claim 1 , wherein an upper end of the door assembly is positioned higher than the display module. 6. The air purifier according to claim 1 , further comprising: side panels forming both sides of the cabinet, wherein each of the side panels is made from a material different from that of the upper panel. 7. The air purifier according to claim 1 , wherein the display module is configured to move in a direction away from the door assembly when an external force is applied to the display module. 8. The air purifier according to claim 7 , wherein the display module is configured to move in a direction closer to the door assembly when the external force is removed. 9. The air purifier according to claim 8 , wherein the display module is configured to return to an existing position by an elastic force when the external force is removed. 10. The air purifier according to claim 1 , wherein the display module is installed in a front portion of the electric plate. 11. The air purifier according to claim 1 , wherein the display module includes an elastic member configured for returning the display module to its original position after the display module is moved away from its original position. 12. The air purifier according to claim 11 , wherein the display module further includes a guide protrusion protruding rearward to guide movement of the display module in the front and rear direction, and wherein the electric plate includes a guide rib protruding upward to support the guide protrusion. 13. The air purifier according to claim 12 , wherein the guide protrusion includes: a first guide protrusion extending rearward from a central portion of the display module; and a second guide protrusion extending rearward from a side portion of the display module, wherein the elastic member is fitted in the second guide protrusion. 14. The air purifier according to claim 1 , wherein the display module further includes: a guide slit formed in the display groove and opened in a vertical direction; and wherein the guide slit extends in the front and rear direction. 15. The air purifier according to claim 14 , wherein: the electric plate includes release prevention portions passing through the guide slit, the electric plate being configured to restrict upward and downward movement of the display module, the release prevention portions include a washer inserted into the guide slit, and a diameter (D 1 ) of the washer is larger than a width (D 2 ) of the guide slit. 16. The air purifier according to claim 1 , wherein, when an external force is applied to the display module in the same direction as the direction in which the door assembly closes the opened front portion, the display module moves in the direction to which the external force is applied. 17. The air purifier according to claim 1 , further comprising a front groove forming a retraction space recessed backward from a front surface of the upper panel such that the display module moves.
