The claims defining the invention are as follows: 1. A methane reducing ruminant animal feed comprising a methane reducing amount of a methane reducing red macroalgae comprising Asparagopsis in combination with a ruminant animal feed. 2. A methane reducing ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the Asparagopsis is provided in a form in which the secondary metabolites remain effective. 3. A methane reducing ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the Asparagopsis is Asparagopsis taxiformis and/or Asparagopsis armata. 4. An anti-methanogenic ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.067% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 5. An anti-methanogenic ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.125% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 6. An anti-methanogenic ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.25% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 7. An anti-methanogenic ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.5% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 8. An anti-methanogenic ruminant animal feed according to claim 1 wherein the feed comprises at least 1% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 9. A method of making a methane reducing ruminant animal feed comprising adding a methane reducing animal feed supplement comprising a methane reducing amount of a methane reducing red macroalgae to a ruminant animal feed, wherein the methane reducing red macroalgae comprises Asparagopsis. 10. A method according to claim 9 wherein the Asparagopsis is provided in a form in which the secondary metabolites remain effective. 11. A method according to claim 10 wherein the Asparagopsis is Asparagopsis taxiformis and/or Asparagopsis armata. 12. A method methane reducing animal feed supplement according to claim 10 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.067% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 13. A method according to claim 10 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.125% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 14. A method according to claim 10 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.25% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 15. A method according to claim 10 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.5% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 16. A method according to claim 10 wherein the feed comprises at least 1% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed. 17. A method of making a methane reducing animal feed comprising adding a methane reducing animal feed supplement consisting of a methane reducing red macroalgae, wherein the methane reducing red macroalgae is Asparagopsis , to a ruminant animal feed. 18. A method according to claim 17 wherein the Asparagopsis is provided in a form in which the secondary metabolites remain effective. 19. A method according to claim 17 wherein the feed comprises at least 0.067% Asparagopsis of organic matter of the feed.
