What is claimed is: 1. A system comprising: a first peripheral device; a second peripheral device; a dialysis machine; a first antenna configured to receive a wireless identifier related to the second peripheral device via a short-range wireless technology protocol; and a second antenna configured for communication via a communication protocol other than the short-range wireless technology protocol, wherein the first peripheral device and the dialysis machine are configured to communicate with each other via the communication protocol, and wherein the second peripheral device and the first peripheral device are configured to communicate with each other over a connection established using the wireless identifier, and wherein the first peripheral device is granted permission to perform one or more of: (i) monitor one or more treatment parameters of a dialysis treatment of a patient using the communication protocol; (ii) deliver data to the dialysis machine using the communication protocol, or (iii) control functions of the dialysis machine using the communication protocol. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second peripheral device is a medical device configured to measure a health factor of the patient, and communicate the health factor to the first peripheral device through the connection. 3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the second peripheral device is configured to measure the health factor while the patient undergoes the dialysis treatment. 4. The system of claim 2 , wherein the health factor includes at least one of blood pressure, temperature, or heart rate of the patient. 5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second peripheral device is a dialysis related device configured to communicate a dialysis-related parameter to the first peripheral device through the connection. 6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the second peripheral device has a container having a sensor that monitors a characteristic of content of the container, and wherein the dialysis-related parameter includes the characteristic of the content of the container. 7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the content of the container include a dialysis-related treatment solution. 8. The system of claim 6 , wherein the second peripheral device communicates the dialysis-related parameter to the first peripheral device while the patient undergoes the dialysis treatment. 9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second peripheral device is one or more of a blood pressure cuff, a thermometer, a stethoscope, or a saline container. 10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second antenna are provided separate from the dialysis machine. 11. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first antenna is provided separate from the first peripheral device and the second peripheral device. 12. The system of claim 1 , wherein the short-range wireless technology protocol is a Bluetooth protocol. 13. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first peripheral device and the dialysis machine communicate with each other via a WiFi connection. 14. The system of claim 1 , wherein the short-range wireless technology protocol uses radiofrequency identification (RFID) or Near Field Communication (NFC). 15. The system of claim 1 , wherein the connection is a Bluetooth connection. 16. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second peripheral device is configured to provide the wireless identifier to the first antenna. 17. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first peripheral device has an Internet protocol address. 18. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first peripheral device is a smartphone. 19. The system of claim 1 , wherein the first peripheral device is one or more of a remote controller, a laptop computer, or a desktop computer. 20. The system of claim 1 , wherein the second peripheral device is a drug vial.
