Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A saw blade cover for a bench saw, to an angle stop for a bench saw and to a bench saw. The saw blade cover includes a cover body which is manufactured from a first material as well as a contact region which includes a sliding section which is manufactured from a second material and along which the workpiece can slide on contact with the contact region. The stop unit includes a stop arm with a main section which is manufactured of a first material and with an end section which is manufactured of a second material. The bench saw includes a cover flap which covers a gap between the housing arrangement and a lay-on section lower side, the gap arising given a pivoting of the housing arrangement.

The invention claimed is: 1. A saw blade cover for a bench saw, the saw blade cover comprising: a cover body which extends in a longitudinal direction and is manufactured from a first material, the cover body serving for the at least partial covering of the saw blade of the bench saw, the saw blade cover further comprising a contact region which is arranged on a face side on the cover body and which is bevelled relative to the longitudinal direction, so that a deflection of the cover body can be effected by way of contact of the contact region with a workpiece moving in a direction towards the saw blade, wherein the contact region comprises a sliding section which is manufactured of a second material and along which the workpiece can slide on contact with the contact region, wherein the second material has a greater hardness than the first material. 2. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the first material is plastic and/or the second material is metal. 3. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the sliding section is ribbon-shaped. 4. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the contact region and the sliding section are elongate and the sliding section runs in the longitudinal direction of the contact region. 5. The saw blade cover according to claim 4 , wherein the contact region is a face-side contact surface and the sliding section is only present in a part-region, which is central in a horizontal direction, of the face-side contact surface. 6. The saw blade cover according to claim 5 , wherein surface sections, on which the sliding section is not present, are present laterally of the sliding section in the horizontal direction. 7. The saw blade cover according to claim 6 , wherein the surface sections assume more than half of a horizontal extension of the contact surface, so that the sliding section assumes less than half of the horizontal extension. 8. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the sliding section extends over more than half the longitudinal extension of the contact region. 9. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the cover body comprises a projection, said projection projecting obliquely upwards, being arranged in the region of the front face side of the cover body and providing a part of the contact region, and the sliding section extends into the part of the contact region which is provided by the projection. 10. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the sliding section is recessed into the contact region or is placed or bonded onto this. 11. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the saw blade cover is designed in an elongate and flat manner. 12. The saw blade cover according to claim 1 , wherein the contact region in the longitudinal direction represents the front face side of the saw blade cover. 13. A bench saw with a saw blade cover according to claim 1 and with a lay-on section for laying on the workpiece, as well as with the saw blade. 14. The bench saw according to claim 13 , wherein the cover body at least partly covers the saw blade in a covering position and is movably mounted relative to the saw blade, so that by way of impinging the contact region with the workpiece which moves on the lay-on section in the direction towards the saw blade, the cover body can be brought into an uncovering position, in which the saw blade is uncovered to a greater extent than in the covering position. 15. A saw blade cover for a bench saw, the saw blade cover comprising: a cover body which extends in a longitudinal direction and is manufactured from a first material, the cover body serving for the at least partial covering of the saw blade of the bench saw, the saw blade cover further comprising a contact region which is arranged on a face side on the cover body and which is bevelled relative to the longitudinal direction, so that a deflection of the cover body can be effected by way of contact of the contact region with a workpiece moving in a direction towards the saw blade, wherein the contact region comprises a sliding section which is manufactured of a second material and along which the workpiece can slide on contact with the contact region, wherein the first material is plastic and the second material is metal. 16. A saw blade cover for a bench saw, the saw blade cover comprising: a cover body which extends in a longitudinal direction and is manufactured from a first material, the cover body serving for the at least partial covering of the saw blade of the bench saw, the saw blade cover further comprising a contact region which is arranged on a face side on the cover body and which is bevelled relative to the longitudinal direction, so that a deflection of the cover body can be effected by way of contact of the contact region with a workpiece moving in a direction towards the saw blade, wherein the contact region comprises a sliding section which is manufactured of a second material and along which the workpiece can slide on contact with the contact region, wherein the contact region and the sliding section are elongate and the sliding section runs in the longitudinal direction of the contact region, wherein the contact region is a face-side contact surface and the sliding section is only present in a part-region, which is central in a horizontal direction, of the face- side contact surface.
