What is claimed is: 1. A removable basket for a laundry appliance, comprising: a first arcuate body; a second arcuate body rotatably coupled to the first arcuate body, wherein the second arcuate body is configured to rotate about a rotational axis of said removable basket from a nested position in which the second arcuate body overlaps the first arcuate body for insertion into said laundry appliance to an expanded position in which the first arcuate body and the second arcuate body form a base and a substantially continuous sidewall to hold items; and a center support coupled to the base, wherein the center support is configured to guide rotation of the second arcuate body. 2. The removable basket of claim 1 , wherein the second arcuate body is configured to rotate approximately 180° from the nested position to the expanded position. 3. The removable basket of claim 1 , wherein the center support includes a bottom support coupled to the first arcuate body and a top support coupled to the second arcuate body, and wherein the bottom support is rotatably coupled to the top support to guide the rotation of the second arcuate body. 4. The removable basket of claim 1 , further comprising: a retaining assembly coupled to the first arcuate body and configured to selectively couple with the second arcuate body to retain the second arcuate body in the expanded position. 5. The removable basket of claim 1 , further comprising: a retaining assembly coupled to the first arcuate body and configured to selectively couple with the second arcuate body to retain the second arcuate body in the nested position. 6. The removable basket of claim 1 , wherein the second arcuate body includes a coupling projection extending around the center support, and wherein the coupling projection slidably engages the center support as the second arcuate body rotates between the nested position and the expanded position. 7. The removable basket of claim 1 , wherein the substantially continuous sidewall includes a lip configured to engage an attachment feature of a drum. 8. The removable basket of claim 1 , wherein the substantially continuous sidewall defines apertures configured to allow fluid to flow into an interior of said removable basket. 9. The removable basket of claim 1 , wherein the center support is removable from the first arcuate body and the second arcuate body to define a receiving hole in the base for receiving an agitator. 10. A removable basket for a laundry appliance, comprising: a first arcuate body; a base coupled to the first arcuate body, wherein the base defines a basket agitator; a second arcuate body rotatably coupled to the first arcuate body, wherein the second arcuate body rotates about a rotational axis of said removable basket between a nested position in which the second arcuate body overlaps the first arcuate body for insertion into said laundry appliance and an expanded position in which the first arcuate body and the second arcuate body form a substantially continuous sidewall to hold items; and a retaining assembly coupled to at least one of the first and second arcuate bodies to retain the second arcuate body in the expanded position. 11. The removable basket of claim 10 , wherein the basket agitator defines a chamber configured to selectively receive an appliance agitator. 12. The removable basket of claim 10 , wherein the first and second arcuate bodies each define a platform, and wherein the base is selectively disposed on the platform. 13. The removable basket of claim 12 , wherein each platform has a respective protuberance, and wherein the base defines pockets to receive the respective protuberances to couple the base to the first and second arcuate bodies. 14. The removable basket of claim 10 , wherein a bottom portion of at least one of the first and second arcuate bodies defines a slit to allow fluid to flow into an interior of said removable basket. 15. The removable basket of claim 10 , wherein the substantially continuous sidewall defines a flow aperture to allow fluid to flow into an interior of said removable basket. 16. The removable basket of claim 10 , wherein an exterior surface of the second arcuate body abuts an interior surface of the first arcuate body at least when in the nested position.
