A stroller and foldable frame assembly for a stroller includes a locking mechanism adjustable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking mechanism is configured to releasably lock the foldable frame assembly in its use configuration and/or storage configuration by releasably and internally locking at least one of a respective swivel joint assembly of the frame assembly. The locking mechanism includes an actuation element configured to adjust the locking mechanism between the unlocked and the locked position that is arranged spaced apart transversely to a swivel axis of the respective at least one internally lockable swivel joint.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method of moving a stroller from a use configuration to a storage configuration, the stroller comprising a first frame component coupled to a forward wheel of the stroller and a second frame component comprising a handle, the method comprising: rotating the second frame component of the stroller towards the first frame component of the stroller, wherein rotating the second frame component towards the first frame component disposes the second frame component rearward of the first frame component relative to the forward wheel, wherein rotating the second frame component towards the first frame component causes a first leg of the stroller coupled to a first rearward wheel to rotate towards the first frame component of the stroller, and a second leg of the stroller coupled to a second rearward wheel to rotate towards the first frame component of the stroller, wherein rotating the first leg of the stroller towards the first frame component causes the first rearward wheel to move forward towards the forward wheel and laterally inward towards a longitudinal middle plane of the frame assembly, and wherein rotating the second leg of the stroller towards the first frame component causes the second rearward wheel to move forward towards the forward wheel and laterally inward towards the longitudinal middle plane of the frame assembly. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein rotating the second frame component towards the first frame component comprises rotating the second frame component downwards towards the first frame component. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising unlocking a joint between the first frame component and the second frame component. 4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising actuating an actuation element to unlock the joint between the first frame component and the second frame component. 5. The method of claim 4 , wherein actuating the actuation element comprises applying an upward pulling motion on a pull handle. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein actuating the actuation element comprises lifting the stroller at the pull handle. 7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising locking the stroller in the storage configuration. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein rotating the second frame component towards the first frame component causes the first leg of the stroller to rotate about a first rotation axis, and the second leg of the stroller to rotate about a second rotation axis different than the first rotation axis. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein rotating the second frame component towards the first frame component causes the first leg of the stroller to rotate about a first rotation axis, and the second leg of the stroller to rotate about a second rotation axis, and wherein the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis intersect the longitudinal middle plane of the frame assembly at an oblique angle. 10. A method of moving a stroller from a use configuration to a storage configuration, the method comprising: moving a first rearward wheel and a second rearward wheel of the stroller towards a forward wheel of the stroller; moving the first rearward wheel and second rearward wheel laterally towards each other; and moving a second frame component of the stroller towards a first frame component of the stroller such that the first and second rearward wheels are disposed between the first frame component and the second frame component of the stroller in the storage configuration. 11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the first rearward wheel simultaneously moves towards the forward wheel and the second rearward wheel, and wherein the second rearward wheel simultaneously moves towards the forward wheel and the first rearward wheel. 12. The method of claim 10 , wherein moving the first rearward wheel and the second rearward wheel towards the forward wheel comprises: rotating a first leg of the stroller coupled to the first rearward wheel towards the first frame component of the stroller coupled to the forward wheel; and rotating a second leg of the stroller coupled to the second rearward wheel towards the first frame component of the stroller coupled to the forward wheel. 13. The method of claim 10 , wherein moving the first rearward wheel and second rearward wheel laterally towards each other comprises: rotating a first leg of the stroller coupled to the first rearward wheel; and rotating a second leg of the stroller coupled to the second rearward wheel. 14. A stroller, comprising: a first rearward wheel, a second rearward wheel, and a forward wheel; a carriage component; and a foldable frame assembly movable between a use configuration and a storage configuration, wherein a rearward frame component of the foldable frame assembly moves toward a forward lower frame component of the foldable frame assembly when folding the frame assembly from the use configuration to the storage configuration such that the rearward frame component is disposed rearward of the forward lower frame component relative to the forward wheel in the storage configuration, wherein the first rearward wheel and the second rearward wheel of the stroller move towards the forward wheel of the stroller when folding the frame assembly from the use configuration to the storage configuration, and wherein the first rearward wheel and the second rearward wheel move laterally towards each other when folding the frame assembly from the use configuration to the storage configuration. 15. The stroller of claim 14 , wherein a maximum width of the stroller in the storage configuration is smaller than a maximum width of the stroller in the use configuration. 16. The stroller of claim 14 , wherein in the storage configuration a width defined by the first and second rearward wheels of the stroller is smaller than a width defined by other stroller components. 17. The stroller of claim 14 , wherein the frame assembly is configured to self-collapse from the use configuration to the storage configuration in response to actuation of an actuation element. 18. The stroller of claim 14 , wherein the frame assembly comprises: the forward lower frame component having a first end coupled to the forward wheel and an opposite second end coupled to a first swivel joint assembly; the rearward frame component having a first end coupled to the first swivel joint assembly and an opposite second end coupled to a handle assembly; and a rearward lower frame component having a first end coupled to a second swivel joint assembly disposed on the first frame component between the first end and the second end of the first frame component and an opposite second end coupled to the first rearward wheel and second rearward wheel. 19. The stroller of claim 18 , wherein a swivel axis of the second swivel joint assembly intersects a longitudinal middle plane of the frame assembly at an oblique angle. 20. The stroller of claim 18 , wherein a distal end of a left frame member of the third frame component and a distal end of a right frame member of the third frame component each move inward towards a longitudinal middle plane of the frame assembly when folding the frame assembly from the use configuration to the storage configuration.
