What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: simulating temporal growth behavior of a crop plant for each partial area of a field based on a plant growth model; determining a requirement of at least a portion of crop plants cultivated in the field for treatment with at least one plant protection agent; and calculating a partial-area-specific amount of the at least one plant protection agent based at least in part on the simulated temporal growth behavior, a first set of parameters associated with the crop plant, and a second set of parameters associated with the at least one plant protection agent, wherein the first set of parameters associated with the crop plant comprises at least: a size of a leaf area of the crop plant, a predicted fruit mass of the crop plant, and a number of shoots. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: causing the at least one plant protection agent to be applied to the portion of crop plants based on a partial-area-specific application map. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein calculating the partial-area-specific amount of the at least one plant protection agent comprises utilizing normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) values and leaf area index (LAI) values. 4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: identifying the partial areas of the field by segmenting the field into the partial areas based on inhomogeneities detected in a digital image of the field generated using remote sensors. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the requirement of the portion of crop plants cultivated in the field for treatment with the at least one plant protection agent comprises utilizing a prediction model. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein a size of the partial areas is determined based at least in part on a spray width of an application machine. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one plant protection agent comprises an herbicide, a fungicide, or a pesticide. 8. A computer system comprising a processing device, wherein the processing device is configured to: simulate temporal growth behavior of a crop plant for each partial area of a field based on a plant growth model; determine a requirement of at least a portion of crop plants cultivated in the field for treatment with at least one plant protection agent; and calculate a partial-area-specific amount of the at least one plant protection agent based at least in part on the simulated temporal growth behavior, a first set of parameters associated with the crop plant, and a second set of parameters associated with the at least one plant protection agent, wherein the first set of parameters associated with the crop plant comprises at least: a size of a leaf area of the crop plant, a predicted fruit mass of the crop plant, and a number of shoots. 9. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the processing device is further configured to: cause the at least one plant protection agent to be applied to the portion of crop plants based on a partial-area-specific application map. 10. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein to calculate the partial-area-specific amount of the at least one plant protection agent, the processing device is further configured to utilize normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) values and leaf area index (LAI) values. 11. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the processing device is further configured to: identify the partial areas of the field by segmenting the field into the partial areas based on inhomogeneities detected in a digital image of the field generated using remote sensors. 12. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein to determine the requirement of the portion of crop plants cultivated in the field for treatment with the at least one plant protection agent, the processing device is further configured to utilize a prediction model. 13. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the processing device is further configured to determine a size of the partial areas based at least in part on a spray width of an application machine. 14. The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one plant protection agent comprises an herbicide, a fungicide, or a pesticide. 15. A non-transitory storage medium on which a computer program is stored that, when loaded can be loaded into a working memory of a computer system, causes the computer system to: simulate temporal growth behavior of a crop plant for each partial area of a field based on a plant growth model; determine a requirement of at least a portion of crop plants cultivated in the field for treatment with at least one plant protection agent; and calculate a partial-area-specific amount of the at least one plant protection agent based at least in part on the simulated temporal growth behavior, a first set of parameters associated with the crop plant, and a second set of parameters associated with the at least one plant protection agent, wherein the first set of parameters associated with the crop plant comprises at least: a size of a leaf area of the crop plant, a predicted fruit mass of the crop plant, and a number of shoots. 16. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the computer program further causes the computer system to: cause the at least one plant protection agent to be applied to the portion of crop plants based on a partial-area-specific application map, wherein the at least one plant protection agent comprises an herbicide, a fungicide, or a pesticide. 17. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 15 , wherein to calculate the partial-area-specific amount of the at least one plant protection agent, the computer program further causes the computer system to utilize normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) values and leaf area index (LAI) values. 18. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the computer program further causes the computer system to: identify the partial areas of the field by segmenting the field into the partial areas based on inhomogeneities detected in a digital image of the field generated using remote sensors. 19. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 15 , wherein to determine the requirement of the portion of crop plants cultivated in the field for treatment with the at least one plant protection agent, the computer program further causes the computer system to utilize a prediction model. 20. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the computer program further causes the computer system to determine a size of the partial areas based at least in part on a spray width of an application machine.
