A VCM is disclosed, the VCM including a rotor having a first driving unit and arranged therein with a lens, a stator having a second driving unit wrapping the first driving unit and being opposite to the first driving unit, a base supporting the stator and having an opening formed at a position corresponding to that of the lens, a connection terminal including a pair of first and second connection terminals arranged at an upper surface of the base, and an elastic member including a first elastic member coupled to the rotor and electrically connected the first connection terminal and a second elastic member coupled to the rotor and electrically connected the second connection terminal.

The invention claimed is: 1. A voice coil motor, comprising: a base; a housing disposed on the base; a bobbin disposed in the housing; a coil disposed on the bobbin; a magnet disposed on the housing; a lower elastic member disposed between the bobbin and the base; and a terminal disposed between the base and the housing, wherein the terminal comprises a first terminal unit and a second terminal unit disposed on a first lateral side of the base, wherein the second terminal unit comprises a plate portion disposed on a first upper portion of the base and a first portion extending from a part of the plate portion in a first direction perpendicular to the first upper portion of the base, wherein the plate portion of the second terminal unit comprises a flat area in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and wherein the plate portion of the second terminal unit is disposed between the first upper portion of the base and a portion of the lower elastic member. 2. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the second terminal unit comprises a second portion inserted in the base. 3. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the terminal comprises a portion electrically connected with the lower elastic member. 4. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the lower elastic member comprises an inner part coupled to the bobbin, an outer part coupled to the base, and a connection part connecting the inner part and the outer part. 5. The voice coil motor of claim 4 , wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member comprises a hole formed at a position corresponding to the terminal. 6. The voice coil motor of claim 5 , comprising a conductive material connecting the lower elastic member and the terminal. 7. The voice coil motor of claim 6 , wherein the conductive material is disposed on the hole of the outer part of the lower elastic member. 8. The voice coil motor of claim 4 , wherein the base comprises a second upper portion facing in a same direction with the first upper portion and disposed upper than the first upper portion, wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member is disposed on the second upper portion of the base, and wherein the plate portion of the terminal is disposed on the first upper portion of the base. 9. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the lower elastic member comprises first and second elastic members spaced apart from each other, wherein the first elastic member electrically connects one end portion of the coil and the first terminal unit, and wherein the second elastic member electrically connects another end portion of the coil and the second terminal unit. 10. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the base comprises a first recess, and wherein the plate portion is disposed on the first recess. 11. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the flat area of the plate portion is disposed perpendicular to an optical axis. 12. The voice coil motor of claim 4 , wherein the flat area of the plate portion is disposed parallel to an upper surface of the outer part of the lower elastic member. 13. The voice coil motor of claim 1 , wherein the first portion is bent from the plate portion. 14. A camera module, comprising: a circuit board; an image sensor; the voice coil motor of claim 1 ; and a lens coupled to the bobbin of the voice coil motor and spaced apart from the image sensor, wherein the terminal of the voice coil motor is electrically connected with the circuit board. 15. A mobile phone, comprising the camera module of claim 14 . 16. A voice coil motor, comprising: a base; a housing disposed on the base; a bobbin disposed in the housing; a coil disposed on the bobbin; a magnet disposed on the housing; a lower elastic member disposed between the bobbin and the base; and a terminal disposed between the base and the housing, wherein the lower elastic member comprises a first lower elastic part comprising an inner portion disposed between the bobbin and the base and an outer portion disposed between the housing and the base, where the terminal comprises a first terminal unit electrically connected with the first lower elastic part, wherein the first terminal unit comprises a plate portion disposed on a first upper portion of the base and a first portion extending from a part of the plate portion in a direction parallel to an optical axis, and a second portion inserted in the base, and wherein the plate portion of the first terminal unit is disposed between the first upper portion of the base and the outer portion of the lower elastic member. 17. The voice coil motor of claim 16 , wherein the terminal comprises a portion electrically connected with the lower elastic member. 18. The voice coil motor of claim 16 , wherein the lower elastic member comprises an inner part coupled to the bobbin, an outer part coupled to the base, and a connection part connecting the inner part and the outer part, and wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member comprises a hole formed at a position corresponding to the terminal. 19. The voice coil motor of claim 18 , comprising a conductive material connecting the lower elastic member and the terminal, wherein the conductive material is disposed on the hole of the outer part of the lower elastic member. 20. A voice coil motor, comprising: a base; a cover disposed on the base and comprising a lateral plate; a housing disposed in the cover; a bobbin disposed in the housing; a coil disposed on the bobbin; a magnet disposed between the coil and the lateral plate of the cover; a lower elastic member disposed between the base and the bobbin; and a terminal disposed on the base, wherein the lower elastic member comprises an outer part coupled with the housing and an inner part coupled with the bobbin, wherein the terminal electrically connects the coil, wherein the base comprises a first flat portion and a second flat portion at a position higher than the first flat portion, wherein the outer part of the lower elastic member is disposed between the housing and the second part of the base, wherein the terminal comprises a plate portion disposed between the housing and the first portion of the base and a first portion in parallel to an optical axis direction, and wherein the plate portion of the terminal comprises a flat area in perpendicular to the optical axis direction and is at a position lower than the second part of the base.
