In some embodiments, a system comprising a user device and a restriction management system is provided. The restriction management system includes one or more processors and at least one computer-readable medium. The computer-readable medium has logic stored thereon that, in response to execution by the one or more processors, cause the restriction management system to perform actions comprising receiving flight plan information, querying a restriction data store to retrieve an initial set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information, generating information for presenting a checklist based on a comparison of restriction definitions from the initial set of restrictions to a set of checklist items, and transmitting the information for presenting the set of checklist items to the user device for presentation. In some embodiments, the flight plan information includes a planned flight area and a planned flight period of time.

What is claimed is: 1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium having logic stored thereon that, in response to execution by one or more processors of a restriction management system, causes the restriction management system to perform actions for automatically generating notifications of flight restrictions, the actions comprising: receiving, by the restriction management system, flight plan information, wherein the flight plan information includes a planned flight area and a planned flight period of time; querying, by the restriction management system, a restriction data store to retrieve an initial set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information; generating, by the restriction management system, information for presenting a checklist based on a comparison of restriction definitions from the initial set of restriction definitions to a set of checklist items; and transmitting, by the restriction management system, the information for presenting the checklist to a user device for presentation; re-querying, by the restriction management system, the restriction data store to retrieve an updated set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information; comparing, by the restriction management system, the updated set of restriction definitions to the initial set of restriction definitions; periodically repeating at least the re-querying and comparing actions at a rate that increases over time up to the planned flight period of time; in response to detecting a difference between the updated set of restriction definitions and the initial set of restriction definitions, transmitting, by the restriction management system, a notification to the user device; and in response to detecting a failed checklist item: automatically transmitting, by the restriction management system, a command to an aircraft associated with the flight plan information, to cause the aircraft to maneuver to address the failed checklist item. 2. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the actions further comprise: periodically repeating at least the re-querying and comparing actions during the planned flight period of time. 3. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the flight plan information includes an identification of a pilot; and wherein querying the restriction data store to retrieve the initial set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information includes querying the restriction data store for restriction definitions relevant to one or more pilot attributes or one or more aircraft attributes from a user profile associated with the pilot. 4. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 3 , wherein the one or more pilot attributes include at least one of a license status, how recently the pilot has flown, a number of previous authorizations for the pilot, a current location of the pilot, an age of the pilot, and a local time of the pilot. 5. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the actions further comprise: receiving, by the restriction management system, restriction definitions from at least one third-party system; and storing, by the restriction management system, the restriction definitions in the restriction data store. 6. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the actions further comprise: receiving, by the restriction management system, environmental information from at least one third-party source; generating, by the restriction management system, restriction definitions based on the environmental information; and storing, by the restriction management system, the restriction definitions in the restriction data store. 7. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the environmental information includes at least one of past weather condition information, current weather condition information, and future weather prediction information. 8. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the actions further comprise: receiving, by the restriction management system, telemetry data from an aircraft associated with the flight plan information; comparing, by the restriction management system, the telemetry data to the flight plan information; and in response to determining that the telemetry data indicates the aircraft is operating outside of the planned flight area: updating, by the restriction management system, the flight plan information to cover operation in a flight area that includes a location indicated by the telemetry data; re-querying, by the restriction management system, the restriction data store to retrieve a new set of restriction definitions relevant to the updated flight plan information; generating, by the restriction management system, information for presenting a new checklist based on a comparison of restriction definitions from the new set of restriction definitions to the set of checklist items; and transmitting, by the restriction management system, the information for presenting the new checklist to the user device for presentation. 9. A system, comprising: a user device; and a restriction management system including one or more processors and at least one computer-readable medium having logic stored thereon that, in response to execution by the one or more processors, causes the restriction management system to perform actions comprising: receiving, by the restriction management system, flight plan information, wherein the flight plan information includes a planned flight area and a planned flight period of time; querying, by the restriction management system, a restriction data store to retrieve an initial set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information; generating, by the restriction management system, information for presenting a checklist based on a comparison of restriction definitions from the initial set of restriction definitions to a set of checklist items; transmitting, by the restriction management system, the information for presenting the checklist to the user device for presentation; re-querying, by the restriction management system, the restriction data store to retrieve an updated set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information; comparing, by the restriction management system, the updated set of restriction definitions to the initial set of restriction definitions; periodically repeating at least the re-querying and comparing actions before the planned flight period of time at a rate that increases over time up to the planned flight period of time; periodically repeating at least the re-querying and comparing actions during the planned flight period of time; and in response to detecting, during the planned flight period of time, a failed checklist item: automatically transmitting, by the restriction management system, a command to the aircraft to cause the aircraft to maneuver to address the failed checklist item. 10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the actions further comprise: transmitting, by the restriction management system, a notification to the user device in response to detecting a difference between the updated set of restriction definitions and the initial set of restriction definitions. 11. The system of claim 9 , wherein the flight plan information includes an identification of a pilot; and wherein querying the restriction data store to retrieve the initial set of restriction definitions relevant to the flight plan information includes querying the restriction data store for restriction definitions relevant to an attribute of the pilot. 12.
