Provided herein are compounds, compositions, and methods useful for the treatment of breast cancer, particularly triple negative breast cancers. In certain aspects, provided herein are compounds of formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof. In certain aspects, provided herein are compositions comprising any of the compounds provided herein. In certain aspects, provided herein are methods for the treatment of cancer in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of any of the compounds or compositions provided herein.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound of formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently haloalkyl; R 4 is selected from chloro, methylsulfonyl, methylthio, methoxy, piperazinyl, pyrrolidyl, morpholinyl, and piperidyl; and R 3 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are each hydrogen. 2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 4 is methoxy. 3. A compound selected from the following: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof. 4. The compound of claim 3 , of formula: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof. 5. A composition comprising the compound of claim 1 . 6. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of claim 3 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and/or excipient. 7. A method of treating cancer in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering an effective amount of the compound of claim 1 , to the subject. 8. A method of treating cancer in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering an effective amount of the composition of claim 5 , to the subject. 9. A method of treating cancer in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering a pharmaceutically effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition of claim 6 , to the subject. 10. The method of claim 7 , wherein the cancer is breast cancer or triple negative breast cancer. 11. The method of claim 8 , wherein the cancer is breast cancer or triple negative breast cancer. 12. The compound of claim 3 , of formula: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof.
