What is claimed is: 1. An over-the-door hanging apparatus comprising: a mirror apparatus comprising a rear surface; at least one mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus; at least one over-the-door hanger comprising: an elongate member extending from a proximal end to a distal end; a bracket located at the proximal end of the elongate member for engaging a top edge of a door; a first hook punched into the elongate member near the distal end of the elongate member, wherein the first hook is aligned with a first aperture formed through the elongate member; and a second hook punched into the elongate member adjacent to and spaced apart from the first hook, wherein the second hook is aligned with a second aperture formed through the elongate member; wherein the mirror apparatus is configured to be mounted to the at least one over-the-door hanger through mating between the at least one mounting element on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus and at least one of the first and second hooks of the at least one over-the-door hanger. 2. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 1 wherein each of the first and second hooks is S-shaped. 3. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the elongate member of the at least one over-the-door hanger comprises a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface, wherein the first and second hooks protrude from the front surface of the elongate member, and wherein each of the first and second apertures is a rectangular shaped hole extending from the front surface to the rear surface of the elongate member of the at least one over-the-door hanger. 4. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the bracket of the at least one over-the-door hanger comprises a top portion extending perpendicularly from the proximal end of the elongate member to a distal end and a back portion extending downwardly from the distal end of the top portion, the back portion being oriented parallel to the elongate member. 5. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 4 further comprising an angled flange extending from a distal end of the back portion downwardly and in a direction away from the elongate member. 6. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the over-the-door hanger is a monolithic component comprising the elongate member, the bracket, and the first and second hooks, and wherein the over-the-door hanger is formed from metal. 7. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 1 further comprising: wherein the at least one mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus comprises a first mounting element and a second mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus on opposite sides of a vertical centerline of the rear surface of the mirror apparatus; wherein the at least one over-the-door hanger comprises a first over-the-door hanger and a second over-the-door hanger; wherein the mirror apparatus is configured to be mounted to the first over-the-door hanger through mating between the first mounting element on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus and one of the first and second hooks of the first over-the-door hanger; and wherein the mirror apparatus is configured to be mounted to the second over-the-door hanger through mating between the second mounting element on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus and one of the first and second hooks of the second over-the-door hanger. 8. The over-the-door hanging apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the mirror apparatus comprises a frame and a mirror positioned within a central opening of the frame. 9. The over-the-door mirror apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the at least one mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus comprises a mounting plate that is mounted to the rear surface of the mirror apparatus, the mounting plate comprising at least one aperture that is aligned with a channel formed into the rear surface of the mirror apparatus. 10. The over-the-door mirror apparatus according to claim 1 further comprising: the at least one over-the-door hanger being an integrally formed structure formed by appropriately bending and punching a flat strip of metal; and the first bracket and the first hook of the at least one over-the-door hanger extending in opposite directions. 11. The over-the-door mirror apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the first hook is located adjacent to but spaced from the distal end of the elongate member and wherein the second hook is located between the first hook and the bracket. 12. The over-the-door mirror apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the first hook extends from a base that is connected to a front surface of the elongate member to a distal end and wherein the second hook extends from a base that is connected to the front surface of the elongate member to a distal end. 13. The over-the-door mirror apparatus according to claim 12 wherein the distal ends of the first and second hooks face away from the front surface of the elongate member. 14. An over-the-door hanging apparatus comprising: a mirror apparatus comprising a rear surface; at least one mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus; at least one over-the-door hanger comprising: an elongate member extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the elongate member comprising a front surface, a rear surface, a first aperture extending from the front surface to the rear surface, and a second aperture extending from the front surface to the rear surface; a bracket located at the proximal end of the elongate member for engaging a top edge of a door; a first hook extending from the elongate member and being aligned with the first aperture; and a second hook extending from the elongate member and being aligned with the second aperture; wherein the mirror apparatus is configured to be mounted to the at least one over-the-door hanger through mating between the at least one mounting element on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus and one of the first and second hooks of the at least one over-the-door hanger. 15.
