Method for remineralizing teeth or increasing hardness of tooth enamel by application of Brazilian green propolis oil or its components.

The invention claimed is: 1. A mineral treatment method for damaged teeth, consisting of: extracting a propolis of Brazilian green into an oil to form a Brazilian green propolis oil consisting of the oil and the propolis of Brazilian green; contacting the damaged teeth with citric acid; then contacting the damaged teeth with the Brazilian green propolis oil for a time and under conditions to increase a Vickers Hardness of the damaged teeth by at least 5%. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the method results in: remineralizing dentin or cementum of the damaged teeth of a subject. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the damaged teeth include a carie, A carious lesion, a cavity, or an exposed root. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the oil is a vegetable oil. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the oil is a canola oil. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the propolis of Brazilian green comprises 0.01 to 5 wt % of phenolic acids or other phenolic compounds. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the propolis of Brazilian green comprises 0.01 to 5 wt % of flavonoids. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the propolis of Brazilian green comprises 0.01 to 5 wt % of Artepillin C. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein said damaged teeth are contacted with the Brazilian green propolis oil for at least 10 minutes.
