A drill system including a drill and a secondary computing device. The drill includes a housing, a controller, a wireless transceiver, a motor, and a chuck. The motor, the controller and the wireless transceiver are housed in the housing. The chuck is selectively driven by the motor. The secondary computing device includes a wireless transceiver which allows wireless communication between the drill and the secondary computing device. The secondary computing device further includes a user interface configured to allow an operator to change operating parameters of the drill. The operating parameters are configured to be automatically reset.

What is claimed is: 1. A drill system, comprising: a drill; and a secondary computing device; wherein the drill comprises a housing, a controller, a wireless transceiver, a motor, and a chuck; wherein the motor, the controller and the wireless transceiver are housed in the housing; wherein the chuck is configured to be selectively driven by the motor; wherein the secondary computing device includes a wireless transceiver which allows wireless communication between the drill and the secondary computing device; wherein the secondary computing device further includes a user interface configured to allow an operator to change at least a first operating parameter of the drill and a second operating parameter of the drill; wherein the first operating parameter relates to motor speed; and wherein the second operating parameter relates to a clutch; wherein the first operating parameter and second operating parameter are configured to be automatically reset to a baseline upon a triggering event. 2. The drill system of claim 1 , wherein the drill includes a display; and wherein the display of the drill is configured to be operated at least in response to the drill receiving information from the secondary computing device. 3. The drill system of claim 1 , wherein the drill system is configured such that the operator is prompted to confirm the change of the operating parameters. 4. The drill system of claim 1 , wherein the operator is provided with a visual indication when the first operating parameter and the second operating parameter have been reset to the baseline. 5. The drill system of claim 4 , wherein the visual indication includes operation of a light. 6. The drill system of claim 5 , wherein the visual indication includes blinking of the light. 7. The drill system of claim 5 , wherein the light is provided by an LED. 8. The drill system of claim 1 , wherein the triggering event comprises actuation of an actuator on the drill. 9. A power tool system, comprising: a power tool; and a secondary computing device; wherein the power tool comprises a housing, a controller, a wireless transceiver, a motor, and a tool output; wherein the tool output is configured to be selectively driven by the motor; wherein the secondary computing device includes a wireless transceiver which allows wireless communication between the power tool and the secondary computing device; wherein the secondary computing device further includes a user interface configured to allow an operator to manually change a first operating parameter of the power tool; wherein the user interface is configured to display a first line segment; wherein a first end of the first line segment represents a high end of the first operating parameter; and wherein a second end of the first line segment represents a low end of the first operating parameter. 10. The power tool system of claim 9 , wherein the first operating parameter is configured to be automatically reset to a baseline value in response to a triggering event. 11. The power tool system of claim 10 , wherein the power tool system is configured such that the operator is prompted to confirm the triggering event. 12. The power tool system of claim 10 , wherein the operator is provided with a visual indication when the first operating parameter has been reset. 13. The power tool system of claim 9 , wherein the first operating parameter is related to motor speed. 14. The power tool system of claim 9 , wherein the first operating parameter relates to a clutch parameter. 15. The power tool system of claim 9 , further comprising a visual indicator along the first line segment. 16. The power tool system of claim 9 , wherein the secondary computing device is configured to allow an operator to manually change a second operating parameter of the power tool; wherein the user interface is further configured to display a second line segment; wherein a first end of the second line segment represents a high end of the second operating parameter; and wherein a second end of the second line segment represents a low end of the second operating parameter. 17. The power tool system of claim 16 , wherein the first operating parameter is related to motor speed. 18. The power tool system of claim 17 , wherein the second operating parameter relates to a clutch. 19. A power tool system, comprising: a power tool; and a secondary computing device; wherein the power tool comprises a housing, a controller, a wireless transceiver, a motor, and a tool output; wherein the tool output is configured to be selectively driven by the motor; wherein the secondary computing device is configured to wirelessly communicate with the power tool; wherein the secondary computing device is configured to allow a user to select at least one descriptor for an application; and wherein at least one operating parameter of the power tool is modified in accordance with the at least one descriptor selected by the user. 20. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one descriptor includes a workpiece material. 21. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one descriptor includes a size. 22. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one descriptor comprises a plurality of descriptors. 23. The power tool system of claim 22 , wherein the plurality of descriptors includes a workpiece material. 24. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the selection of descriptor is stored on the secondary computing device. 25. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one operating parameter is related to motor speed. 26. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one operating parameter relates to a clutch. 27. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one operating parameter relates to torque. 28. The power tool system of claim 19 , wherein the at least one descriptor includes a workpiece material; and wherein the at least one operating parameter relates to a speed of the power tool. 29. A power tool comprising: a housing, a controller, a wireless transceiver, a motor, and a tool output; wherein the tool output is configured to be selectively driven by the motor; wherein the power tool is configured to wirelessly communicate with a secondary computing device; wherein the power tool is configured such that at least one operating parameter of the power tool is modified in accordance with a descriptor that is selected on the secondary computing device; and wherein the descriptor comprises a workpiece material. 30. The power tool of claim 29 , wherein the at least one parameter is related to motor speed. 31. The power tool of claim 30 , wherein the tool output is a chuck.
