Novel Stevia rebaudiana plant cultivars, a process for preparing superior compositions comprising steviol glycosides, and the advantageous use of the compositions comprising steviol glycosides in consumables, including food and beverage products, are disclosed.

What is claimed is: 1. A cultivar of Stevia rebaudiana B401084 or 16105004, wherein a % ratio of SvGn family steviol glycosides content to TSG content in the range from about 97.15% to about 100% is obtained from plant tissue of said cultivars and wherein representative samples of plant tissues of said cultivars were deposited under CGMCC Accession No. 13389 and 13390. 2. A method for producing an F 1 Stevia rebaudiana plant, wherein the method comprises fertilizing a Stevia rebaudiana plant and harvesting the resultant Stevia rebaudiana seed, wherein the Stevia rebaudiana plant is the cultivar of Stevia rebaudiana B401084 or 16105004 of claim 1 . 3. An F 1 Stevia rebaudiana plant produced by the method of claim 2 .
