Embodiments provide methods of assembling an apparel product. The methods include applying a composition to a portion of a major component of the apparel product or a portion of a minor component of the apparel product. The portion of the minor component is coupled with the portion of the major component via the composition. The major component forms a base portion of the apparel product and is configured to be supported and worn at least partially over a portion of a wearer. The minor component forms a secondary portion configured to be coupled to the major component with an adhesive. The composition is converted to the adhesive to form the apparel product. The adhesive includes a material having a boronate ester bond.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of assembling an apparel product, comprising: applying a composition to a portion of a major component of the apparel product or a portion of a minor component of the apparel product; coupling the portion of the minor component with the portion of the major component via the composition, the major component forming a base portion of the apparel product and configured to be supported and worn at least partially over a portion of a wearer, and the minor component forming a secondary portion configured to be coupled to the major component with an adhesive; and converting the composition to the adhesive to form the apparel product, the adhesive comprising a material having a boronate ester bond. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein applying the composition comprises applying the composition by a heat gun, printing, spraying, painting, dipping, roll on, screen printing, or combinations thereof. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein a pH of the composition is about 7 to about 10. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the apparel product is selected from the group consisting of a shirt, a pant, a skirt, a coat, a dress, a sweater, a body suit, and combinations thereof. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the major component comprises a material selected from the group consisting of a polyester, a polyamide, a cotton, mixtures thereof, and combinations thereof. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition is applied at a thickness of about 0.025 mm to about 5 mm. 7. The method of claim 1 , applying a second composition at least partially between a first and second portion of the apparel product, each of the first and second portion forming a portion of the major component, the minor component, or a second minor component, wherein the second composition has a second pH. 8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising forming the composition from one or more monomers, the one or more monomers comprising boronic acid moieties bonded to aromatic rings of the one or more monomers. 9. A method of assembling an apparel product, comprising: applying a first composition to a portion of a major component of the apparel product; applying a second composition to a portion of a minor component of the apparel product; and contacting the portion of the major component with the portion of the minor component via the first composition and the second composition, the major component forming a base portion of the apparel product and configured to be supported and worn at least partially over a portion of a wearer, and the minor component forming a secondary portion configured to be coupled to the major component with an adhesive comprising a boronate ester bond, wherein contacting the first and second compositions forms the adhesive and apparel product. 10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the first composition comprises a boronic acid compound and the second composition comprises one or more monomers bonded to at least one oxygen, the monomers selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, an acrylic, ethylene, propylene, a styrene, a vinyl acetate, a vinyl ester, and combinations thereof. 11. The method of claim 9 , wherein the first composition comprises one or more monomers comprising at least one oxygen, the monomers selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, an acrylic, ethylene, propylene, a styrene, a vinyl acetate, a vinyl ester, and combinations thereof; and the second composition comprises a boronic acid compound. 12. The method of claim 9 , wherein forming the adhesive comprises comingling the first composition and the second composition with one another. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the adhesive comprises a polymer having boron-oxygen covalent bond. 14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the boron-oxygen covalent bond is a cyclic boronic ester bond. 15. The method of claim 9 , wherein the first composition comprises monomers having two or more boronic acid moieties. 16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the first composition comprises 1,3-benzenediboronic acid. 17. A method of assembling an apparel product, comprising: combining a boronic acid containing monomer with a Lewis base containing monomer, the boronic acid including a monomer portion selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, an acrylic, ethylene, propylene, a styrene, a vinyl acetate, a vinyl ester, and combinations thereof, the Lewis base containing monomer including a monomer portion selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, an acrylic, ethylene, propylene, a styrene, a vinyl acetate, a vinyl ester, and combinations thereof; applying the composition to a major component of the apparel product or a minor component of the apparel product, the major component forming a base portion of the apparel product and configured to be supported and worn at least partially over a portion of a wearer, and the minor component forming a secondary portion configured to be coupled to the major component with an adhesive; contacting the portion of the minor component of the apparel product with the portion of the major component of the apparel product via the composition; and converting the composition to form the adhesive and the apparel product, the adhesive having a boronate ester bond. 18. The method of claim 17 , further comprising introducing one or more additives to the composition in an amount of about 1 wt. % to about 40 wt. % of total additives on a basis of total weight of the adhesive. 19. The method of claim 17 , wherein the adhesive is a reaction product of a compound having the structure: wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , X and W are each independently hydrogen, a linear hydrocarbon, a cyclic hydrocarbon, or a branched hydrocarbon, wherein each of n and m are independently integers between 1 and 1000. 20. The method of claim 17 , wherein the Lewis base containing monomer is a diol.
