Drift reduction adjuvant composition and agricultural sprays containing such agricultural compositions contain water, a Newtonian responding polymer such as guar gum, an emulsifier such as a polyoxyethylene sorbitan emulsifier, and an oil. When the agricultural spray containing the drift reduction adjuvant composition and a pesticide is delivered from an agricultural nozzle, it produces fewer droplets less than 150 μm in diameter and either reduces, maintains or increases (e.g., by up to 30 percentage points) the number of ultra-coarse droplets above 622 μm in diameter compared to an agricultural spray of the pesticide without the drift reduction adjuvant composition sprayed under the same conditions.

What is claimed is: 1. An agricultural spray, comprising: a drift reduction adjuvant composition, the drift reduction adjuvant composition comprising: water; guar gum present in an amount of about 0.009 to about 0.020% (v/v) of the agricultural spray; an emulsifier comprising a polyoxyethylene sorbitan emulsifier, the emulsifier present in an amount of 0.1 to 3.0% (v/v) of the drift reduction adjuvant composition; and methylated soybean oil present in an amount of about 0.078 to about 0.391% (v/v) of the agricultural spray, and a pesticide, wherein the adjuvant composition is free of lecithin. 2. The agricultural spray of claim 1 , wherein the polyoxyethylene sorbitan emulsifier comprises one or more of: polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene 20 sorbital trioleate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan mixed fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monopalmitate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monostearate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monotallate, polyoxyethylene sorbitol hexaoleate, polyoxyethylene sorbitol oleate-laurate, polyoxyethylene sorbitol penta tall oil ester (40 moles), polyoxyethylene sorbitol tetraoleate, or polyoxyethylene sorbitol, mixed ethyl ester. 3. The agricultural spray of claim 1 , wherein the guar gum forms about 0.012 to about 0.020% (v/v) of the agricultural spray. 4. The agricultural spray of claim 1 , wherein the methylated soybean oil forms about 0.156 to about 0.313% (v/v) of the agricultural spray. 5. The agricultural spray of claim 1 , wherein the polyoxyethylene sorbitan emulsifier forms up to about 3.2% (v/v) of the drift reduction adjuvant composition. 6. An agricultural spray, comprising: a drift reduction adjuvant composition, the drift reduction adjuvant composition comprising: water; guar gum present in an amount of about 1.18×10 −4 to about 1.35×10 −4 g/ml of the agricultural spray; an emulsifier comprising a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, the emulsifier present in an amount of 0.1 to 3.0% (v/v) of the drift reduction adjuvant composition; and methylated soybean oil present in an amount of about 0.12 to about 0.23% (v/v) of the agricultural spray; and a pesticide, wherein the agricultural spray produces fewer droplets less than 150 μm in diameter and either reduces, maintains or increases by up to 30 percentage points the number of ultra-coarse droplets above 622 μm in diameter when delivered from an agricultural nozzle compared to an agricultural spray of the pesticide without the drift reduction adjuvant composition sprayed under the same conditions, and wherein the adjuvant composition is free of lecithin. 7. The agricultural spray of claim 6 , wherein the agricultural nozzle is configured to produce a flat fan spray. 8. The agricultural spray of claim 6 , wherein a pH of the spray is about 5 to about 7. 9. The agricultural spray of claim 6 , wherein the emulsifier forms up to about 0.04% (v/v) of the spray. 10. The agricultural spray of claim 6 , wherein the pesticide comprises dicamba. 11. The agricultural spray of claim 6 , wherein the agricultural spray either reduces, maintains or increases by up to 15 percentage points the number of ultra-coarse droplets above 622 μm in diameter when delivered from the agricultural nozzle compared to an agricultural spray of the pesticide without the drift reduction adjuvant composition sprayed under the same conditions. 12. The agricultural spray of claim 1 , wherein the drift reduction adjuvant composition is free of water conditioning agents. 13. The agricultural spray of claim 1 , wherein the pesticide comprises dicamba or dicamba with glyphosate.
