The invention claimed is: 1. A method for manufacturing a sintered body, the method comprising: mixing a plurality of particles of at least one metal oxide having a spinel-type structure with at least one metal acetylacetonate to produce a mixture; and heating the mixture in the presence of water or water vapor and under pressure and at a temperature of from a melting point or higher of the at least one metal acetylacetonate to 600° C. or lower, wherein the water or water vapor is present in the mixture in an amount such that there is 20 wt % or less of water relative to a total weight of the plurality of particles of the at least one metal oxide having the spinel-type structure. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the metal acetylacetonate contains a metal element that is the same as at least one metal element contained in the metal oxide. 3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the mixture further contains at least one of a metal material, a resin material, or a carbon material. 4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the metal oxide is ferrite. 5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the metal oxide contains Ni and Mn. 6. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the metal oxide contains one or more of Li, Mg, Al, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn. 7. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the pressure 1 MPa to 5000 MPa. 8. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of particles of the metal oxide include at least two particles having different average particle sizes.
