A process cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a developing roller, a drum unit containing the drum, a developing unit containing the roller and being movable so the roller contacts and is spaced from the drum, and a first force receiver receiving a force from a main-assembly first force applier by movement of a door from open to closed positions when mounting the cartridge and a second force receiver movable from a stand-by position by movement of the first force receiver by a force received from the first force applier. The second force receiver takes a projected position receiving a force from the second force applier to move the developing unit so the roller moves out of contact with the drum, the projected position being higher than the stand-by position.

The invention claimed is: 1. A process cartridge comprising: a photosensitive drum; a drum frame configured to rotatably support the photosensitive drum; a developing roller configured to be contactable to the photosensitive drum to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum; a developing frame configured to rotatably support the developing roller; a first force receiving member having a first force receiving portion capable of receiving a force to move relative to the developing frame from a first position toward a second position, a second force receiving member having a second force receiving portion capable of moving relative to the developing frame from a third position toward a fourth position, the second force receiving member being capable of receiving a spacing force to space the developing roller from the photosensitive drum; and an urging member configured to operatively connect the first force receiving member and the second force receiving member, wherein the second force receiving member is capable of receiving a moving force from the first force receiving member via the urging member so as to move from the third position toward the fourth position. 2. A process cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the urging member is a spring. 3. A process cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the developing frame is rotatably supported by the drum frame about a rotational axis of the developing frame, and the first force receiving portion is positioned closer to the rotational axis of the developing frame when the first force receiving member is in the second position than when the first force receiving member is in the first position. 4. A process cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein a moving direction of the first force receiving member from the first position toward the second position intersects a moving direction of the second force receiving member from the third position toward the fourth position. 5. A process cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein the first force receiving member is provided with the first force receiving portion at one end of the first force receiving member and a first connecting portion at the other end of the first force receiving member, the second force receiving member is provided with the second force receiving portion at one end of the second force receiving member and a second connecting portion at the other end of the second force receiving member, and the urging member contacts the first force receiving member at the first connecting portion and contacts the second force receiving member at the second connecting portion. 6. A process cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising a second urging member configured to urge the second force receiving member from the fourth position to the third position. 7. A process cartridge comprising: a photosensitive drum; a drum frame configured to rotatably support the photosensitive drum; a developing roller configured to be contactable to the photosensitive drum to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum; a developing frame configured to rotatably support the developing roller; a first force receiving member having a first force receiving portion capable of receiving a force so as to move relative to the developing frame in a moving direction from a first position toward a second position; and a second force receiving member having a second force receiving portion for receiving a spacing force to space the developing roller from the photosensitive drum, wherein the second force receiving member is capable of receiving a force from the first force receiving member and thereby move relative to the developing frame from a third position toward a fourth position at which the second force receiving member is capable of receiving the spacing force, and wherein a distance in the moving direction between the first force receiving portion in the first position and the second force receiving portion in the third position is longer than a distance in the moving direction between the first force receiving portion in the second position and the second force receiving portion in the fourth position. 8. A process cartridge according to claim 7 , wherein the developing frame is rotatably supported by the drum frame about a rotational axis thereof, and the first force receiving portion is positioned closer to the rotational axis of the developing frame when the first force receiving member is in the second position than when the first force receiving member is in the first position. 9. A process cartridge according to claim 7 , wherein the moving direction of the first force receiving member intersects a moving direction of the second force receiving member from the third position toward the fourth position. 10. A process cartridge according to claim 7 , further comprising a spring configured to operatively connect the first force receiving member and the second force receiving member. 11. A process cartridge comprising: a photosensitive drum; a drum frame configured to rotatably support the photosensitive drum; a developing roller configured to be contactable to the photosensitive drum to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum; a developing frame configured to rotatably support the developing roller; a first force receiving member having a first force receiving portion capable of receiving a force to move relative to the developing frame from a first position toward a second position; and a second force receiving member having a second force receiving portion for receiving a spacing force to space the developing roller from the photosensitive drum, wherein the first force receiving member is capable of moving the second force receiving member relative to the developing frame. 12. A process cartridge according to claim 11 , wherein the developing frame is rotatably supported by the drum frame about a rotational axis of the developing frame, and the first force receiving portion is positioned closer to the rotational axis of the developing frame when the first force receiving member is in the second position than when the first force receiving member is in the first position. 13. A process cartridge according to claim 11 , further comprising a spring configured to operatively connect the first force receiving member and the second force receiving member.
