Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission system between transmitting and receiving devices are provided. In an embodiment, each of the transmitting and receiving devices can contain a master key. The transmitting device can generate a diversified key using the master key, protect a counter value and encrypt data prior to transmitting to the receiving device, which can generate the diversified key based on the master key and can decrypt the data and validate the protected counter value using the diversified key.

What is claimed is: 1. A contactless card, comprising: a memory containing a key; a communication interface; and a processor in communication with the memory and communication interface, wherein, after entry into a communication field, the contactless card: creates a cryptogram using the key, and transmits the cryptogram for decryption to enable the removal of a requirement to present an advertisement prior to accessing a functionality. 2. The contactless card of claim 1 , wherein transmission of the cryptogram for decryption further enables the removal of a request for payment information. 3. The contactless card of claim 1 , wherein the functionality comprises at least one selected from the group of a music streaming service and a video streaming service. 4. The contactless card of claim 1 , wherein the functionality comprises at least one selected from the group of an online magazine and an online newspaper. 5. The contactless card of claim 1 , wherein the functionality comprises a software module associated with additional functions. 6. The contactless card of claim 1 , wherein: the functionality comprises a benefit based on criteria, and the criteria is associated with membership to at least one selected from the group of a club, a group, a loyalty program, an institution, and a qualifying list. 7. The contactless card of claim 6 , wherein the qualifying list is based on a transaction on an account associated with the contactless card. 8. The contactless card of claim 7 , wherein the transaction comprises at least one selected from the group of a purchase of an item, a purchase from a merchant, and a spend amount in excess of a threshold in a predetermined time period. 9. The contactless card of claim 6 , wherein the benefit comprises at least one selected from the group of access to a member-only event, a discount, an offer, and an advance purchase windows. 10. The contactless card of claim 6 , wherein the benefit comprises at least one selected from the group of cancellation of a purchase and rescheduling of a purchase. 11. A method, comprising: creating, by a contactless card comprising a processor, a memory containing a key, and a communication interface a cryptogram using the key; and transmitting, by the contactless card after entry into a communication field, the cryptogram for decryption to enable the removal of a requirement to view an advertisement prior to accessing a functionality. 12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising: receiving, by an application comprising instructions for execution on a receiving device, the receiving device comprising a processor and a memory, the cryptogram; and enabling, by the application after a successful decryption of the transmission data, the removal of the requirement to present an advertisement prior to accessing a functionality. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein: the memory of the receiving device stores an application key, and the method further comprises, prior to enabling, by the application, the removal of the requirement to present an advertisement prior to accessing a functionality, decrypting, by the application, the cryptogram encrypted transmission data using a cryptographic algorithm and the application key. 14. The method of claim 12 , further comprising: receiving, by the contactless card, information associated with the functionality from the application; and updating, by the contactless card, a record contained in the memory of the contactless card with the information. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the information comprises at least one selected from the group of a coupon, a random reward, and confirmation information relating to the functionality. 16. A system, comprising: a contactless card comprising a processor and a memory, the memory of the contactless card containing a key; and an application an application comprising instructions for execution on a receiving device having a processor and a memory, wherein, after entry into a communication field, the contactless card: creates a cryptogram using the key, and transmits the cryptogram to the application, and wherein the application enables the removal of a requirement to present an advertisement prior to accessing a functionality. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein: the memory of the receiving device contains an application key, and the application: decrypts the cryptogram using a cryptographic algorithm and the application key, and provides access to the functionality. 18. The system of claim 16 , wherein the application enables the removal of the requirement to present an advertisement prior to accessing a functionality after a successful decryption of the cryptogram. 19. The system of claim 16 , wherein the functionality comprises media content associated with at least one selected from the group of at least a portion of a movie, filming of the at least a portion of the movie, and a television series. 20. The system of claim 19 , wherein the receiving device is located at a physical location associated with the media content.
