The invention claimed is: 1. A method comprising: receiving, by a computing device and from a mobile device at a premises: an image of a sensor; and a request to add the sensor to an account associated with the premises; performing object recognition on the image; and based on the object recognition, adding the sensor to a list of sensors associated with the account. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: controlling activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the sensor. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: controlling activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the sensor and forecast information. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving further comprises receiving location information indicating a location where the image was captured. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the image includes a visible code displayed on the sensor. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the image includes a quick response (QR) code displayed on the sensor. 7. A method comprising: receiving, from a mobile device at a premises: an image of a computing device; and a request to add the computing device to an account associated with the premises; performing object recognition on the image; and based on the object recognition, adding the computing device to a list of computing devices associated with the account. 8. The method of claim 7 , further comprising: controlling activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the computing device. 9. The method of claim 7 , further comprising: controlling activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the computing device and forecast information. 10. The method of claim 7 , wherein the receiving further comprises receiving location information indicating a location where the image was captured. 11. The method of claim 7 , wherein the image includes a visible code displayed on the computing device. 12. The method of claim 7 , wherein the image includes a quick response (QR) code displayed on the computing device. 13. The method of claim 7 , wherein the computing device comprises at least one of: a sensor; or a detector. 14. An apparatus comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to: receive, from a mobile device at a premises: an image of a sensor; and a request to add the sensor to an account associated with the premises; perform object recognition on the image; and based on the object recognition, add the sensor to a list of sensors associated with the account. 15. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to: control activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the sensor. 16. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to: control activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the sensor and forecast information. 17. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to further receive: location information indicating a location where the image was captured. 18. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the image includes a visible code displayed on the sensor. 19. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein the image includes a quick response (QR) code displayed on the sensor. 20. An apparatus comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to: receive, from a mobile device at a premises: an image of a computing device; and a request to add the computing device to an account associated with the premises; perform object recognition on the image; and based on the object recognition, adding the computing device to a list of computing devices associated with the account. 21. The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to: control activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the computing device. 22. The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the apparatus to: control activity at the premises based on measurement information received from the computing device and forecast information. 23. The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to further receive: location information indicating a location where the image was captured. 24. The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the image includes a visible code displayed on the computing device. 25. The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the image includes a quick response (QR) code displayed on the computing device. 26. The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the computing device comprises at least one of: a sensor; or a detector.
