Particular examples described herein provide for an electronic device, such as a notebook computer or laptop, which includes a circuit board coupled to a plurality of electronic components (which includes any type of hardware elements, circuitry etc.). The electronic device may also include a connector assembly that is positioned within at least a portion of a recess of the electronic device, where the connector assembly includes: a first assembly that is to receive a connector; and a second assembly that is to receive an identification module that is to provide an association between a user and the electronic device.

What is claimed is: 1. A tablet computer comprising: a processor; a first portion having a flat side and configured to house a touchscreen; a semicircular barrel portion extending along the length of the tablet computer casing adjacent to one side of the first portion, the semicircular barrel portion being at least cylindrical on one side; and an audio jack having a circular aperture disposed at one end of the semicircular barrel portion; wherein, the circular aperture of the audio jack is in aligned in a collinear direction with the semicircular barrel portion. 2. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the semicircular barrel portion is thicker than the first portion. 3. The tablet computer of claim 2 , wherein the semicircular barrel portion is configured to house one or more batteries. 4. The tablet computer of claim 3 , wherein the batteries are rechargeable. 5. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising one or more I/O interfaces. 6. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the flat side of the first portion is rectangularly shaped. 7. The tablet computer of claim 6 , wherein the touchscreen is approximately 10 inches diagonally. 8. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising a graphics processor. 9. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising volatile memory. 10. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising a solid-state drive. 11. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising an internal bus. 12. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising a power button disposed at a second end of the semicircular barrel portion opposite to that of the audio jack. 13. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the semicircular barrel portion is configured to function as a grip for the tablet computer. 14. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein a diameter of the semicircular barrel portion is wider than a thickness of the first portion. 15. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the aperture of the audio jack is disposed concentrically with the one end of the semicircular barrel portion. 16. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the audio jack is recessed from the one end of the semicircular barrel portion. 17. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the audio jack is a female audio plug receptacle. 18. The tablet computer of claim 17 , wherein the female audio plug receptacle has an opening diameter of 3.5 mm. 19. The tablet computer of claim 17 , wherein the female audio plug receptacle has an opening diameter of ¼″ or 7 mm. 20. The tablet computer of claim 17 , wherein the female audio plug receptacle is stereo. 21. The tablet computer of claim 1 , wherein the semicircular barrel portion extends along the entire length of one side of the first portion. 22. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising a stand. 23. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising one or more speakers. 24. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising an integrated camera. 25. The tablet computer of claim 1 further comprising one or more of the following ports: Micro HDMI, Micro USB, or Micro SD card.
