What is claimed is: 1. An apparatus to be coupled to a door having a door lock, the apparatus comprising: a housing; a motor disposed at least partially within the housing to drive a rod of the door lock to lock and unlock the door lock; at least one wireless communication circuit disposed at least partially within the housing and configured to receive communications regarding operation of the motor to lock and/or unlock the door; and at least one latch movable between a disengaged position and a clamping position, wherein the at least one latch is configured to removably couple the housing to the door when the at least one latch is in the clamping position, wherein the motor is coupled to the rod when the housing is coupled to the door. 2. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising: a plate including a plurality of holes to receive at least one screw to secure the plate to the door lock of the door, and wherein the at least one latch is configured to clamp onto the plate when the at least one latch is in the clamping position and the housing is positioned on the plate and thereby couple the housing to the door when the plate is secured to the door lock of the door. 3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein: the plate includes a raised central portion, and the at least one latch is configured to engage the raised central portion when the at least one latch is in the clamping position and the housing is positioned on the plate. 4. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of holes comprises at least two elongated slots. 5. The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the at least two elongated slots are positioned on the plate such that, when the plate is positioned at the door lock, the at least two elongated slots are angled with respect to a vertical axis of the plate. 6. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising: an adapter to fit over the rod of the door lock, wherein the motor drives the adapter to drive the rod. 7. The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the adapter has a shape that complements a shape of a tail piece of the rod. 8. The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the adapter comprises a cavity having the shape that complements the shape of the tail piece of the rod, and wherein the adapter is arranged to receive the tail piece of the rod in the cavity. 9. The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein: the shape of the adapter comprises a first flat side; the shape of the tail piece comprises a second flat side; and the adapter is arranged such that, when the adapter fits over the rod, the first flat side contacts the second flat side. 10. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the at least one latch rotates between the disengaged position and the clamping position. 11. The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the at least one latch comprises at least one wing latch. 12. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein each of the at least one wing latch comprises an elongated body having a first end portion and a second, opposite end portion, wherein the first end portion of each wing latch of the at least one wing latch is rotatably coupled to the housing at a point at the first end portion of the wing latch so that the wing latch rotates about the point at the first end portion of the wing latch. 13. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the at least one wing latch is arranged such that, when the housing is at the door, each wing latch of the at least one wing latch rotates at the point for the wing latch about an axis parallel to an axis of rotation of the rod to couple the housing to the door. 14. The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein each wing latch of the at least one wing latch has a shape that, when the wing latch is in the clamping position, forms a continuous shape with a shape of at least a portion of the housing proximate to where the wing latch is rotatably coupled to the housing. 15. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein: the housing has a cylindrical shape; and each wing latch of the at least one wing latch has a shape that is at least partially curved such that, when the wing latch is in the clamping position, the wing latch is continuous with the cylindrical shape of the housing. 16. A kit comprising: a plate including a plurality of holes to receive at least one screw to secure the plate to a door lock of a door; and a lock device configured to be coupled to the door and to a rod of the door lock to drive the rod to lock and unlock the door lock, wherein the lock device comprises a housing and at least one latch rotatably coupled to the housing, wherein the at least one latch is rotatable between an disengaged position and a clamping position, wherein the at least one latch is configured to clamp onto the plate when the at least one latch is in the clamping position and the housing is positioned on the plate and thereby couple the housing to the door when the plate is secured to the door lock of the door. 17. The kit of claim 16 , further comprising an adapter to fit over a rod of the door lock, wherein the adapter couples a motor of the lock device to the rod such that the motor drives the adapter to drive the rod. 18. The kit of claim 16 , wherein the plate is coupled to the door lock of the door with the at least one screw, and wherein the lock device is coupled to the plate with the at least one latch. 19. The kit of claim 16 , wherein the at least one latch comprises at least one wing latch. 20. The kit of claim 16 , wherein the plurality of holes comprises at least two elongated slots. 21. The kit of claim 20 , wherein the at least two elongated slots are positioned on the plate such that, when the plate is positioned at the door lock, the at least two elongated slots are angled with respect to a vertical axis of the plate. 22. A method comprising: removing an existing thumb turn of a door lock of a door; securing a plate to the door lock with at least one screw; fitting an adapter onto a rod of the door lock; positioning a housing over the plate and the adapter, the housing having disposed therein a motor and the housing comprising at least one latch; and moving the at least one latch of the housing from a disengaged position to a clamping position to attach the housing to the plate. 23. The method of claim 22 , further comprising: removing a rose of the door lock of the door prior to securing the plate to the door lock. 24. The method of claim 22 , wherein securing the plate to the door lock comprises securing the at least one screw to the plate and to a threaded cavity of the door lock. 25. The method of claim 22 , wherein positioning the housing over the plate includes moving the housing toward the door in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the door. 26. The method of claim 22 , wherein positioning the housing over the plate includes engaging a top lip of the plate with the housing to hold the housing in place prior to the moving of the at least one latch to the clamping position. 27. The method of claim 26 , wherein moving the at least one latch to the clamping position comprises securing the housing to the plate using the at least one latch. 28. The method of claim 27 , wherein moving the at least one latch to the clamping position moves the housing solely in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the door. 29. The method of claim 22 , wherein moving the at least one latch from the disengaged position to
