I claim: 1. A support system for an electronic device, comprising: a flexible and stretchable support base; a top retainer; and a bottom retainer positioned a spaced distance from the top retainer, the bottom retainer being movable by stretching of the support base to increase the spaced distance to enable insertion or removal of the electronic device, the top retainer and the bottom retainer extending through two slots of the support base, the support base including two arms integral with the support base, the two arms being removably interconnected with each other and being a stretchable part of the support base to support the support base around the neck of a user by the interconnection of the two arms and being removed from around the neck of the user by disconnecting of the two arms. 2. The support system of claim 1 , further including a cable retraction mechanism positioned on the support base, and the top retainer is formed on the retraction mechanism. 3. The support system of claim 2 , further including earbuds connected to the retraction mechanism by way of a connector, and further including a second connector positioned on a wire extending from the retraction mechanism, the second connector configured to mate with a connector on the electronic device, the wire being extendable and retractable from the retraction mechanism. 4. The support system of claim 2 , wherein the retraction mechanism base includes two parts slidably mounted on each other. 5. The support system of claim 4 , wherein the top retainer is a part of a first of the two parts and the bottom retainer is a part of a second of the two parts. 6. The support system of claim 1 , wherein the support base includes a pull tab, the pull tab is gripped to stretch the support base. 7. The support system of claim 2 , wherein the cable retraction mechanism is part of the first part of the retraction mechanism base.
