The present invention relates to deuterated and optionally detectably labeled compounds of formula (I) and formula (V):and salts thereof, wherein R1, R2, A, and X10-X19 have any of the values defined in the specification. Also included are pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds and salts, and methods of using such compounds and salts as imaging agents.

We claim: 1. A compound selected from: and salts thereof, wherein X is bromine, hydroxy or a toluenesulfonyl group, and wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 3500. 2. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein X is bromine or hydroxy, and salts thereof. 3. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein X is hydroxy, and salts thereof. 4. A compound according to claim 1 , which is wherein X is bromine or hydroxy, and salts thereof. 5. A compound according to claim 1 , which is and salts thereof. 6. A compound according to claim 5 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 4000. 7. A compound according to claim 5 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 4500. 8. A compound according to claim 5 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 5000. 9. A compound according to claim 5 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 5500. 10. A compound according to claim 5 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 6000. 11. A compound according to claim 5 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 6600. 12. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 4000. 13. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 4500. 14. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 5000. 15. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 5500. 16. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 6000. 17. A compound according to claim 1 , wherein each deuterated position has a deuterium isotopic enrichment factor of at least 6600.
