Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present invention relates to a film comprising hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers in which cellulose fibers are bound to a modifying group at one or more members selected from anionic groups and hydroxyl groups, and an oil having an SP value of 10 or less. The film of the present invention can be utilized in the fields of materials for packaging containers for cosmetics and foods.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. A film comprising (i) hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an anionic group, hydroxyl group and mixtures thereof, and in which the cellulose fibers are bound to a functional group having a structure excluding an amino group moiety from an amino modified silicone compound, and (ii) an oil having an SP value of 10 or less. 2. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers have an anionic group bound to the modifying group. 3. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the anionic group is a carboxy group. 4. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the amount of the hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers in the film is 1% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less. 5. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the amount of the oil having an SP of 10 or less is 50% by mass or more and 98% by mass or less. 6. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the SP value of the oil is 9.5 or less. 7. The film according to claim 1 , wherein a mass ratio of the cellulose fibers in the hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers to the oil having an SP value of 10 or less, the cellulose fibers: the oil having an SP value of 10 or less is from 1:1 to 1:100. 8. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the surface hardness of the film when measured with a microhardness meter, as Martens hardness (HM), is 0.1 (N/mm 2 ) or more. 9. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the arithmetic means roughness of the film is 0.3 μm or more and 40 μm or less. 10. A molded article comprising a film as defined in claim 1 . 11. A method for forming a film on a molded article, comprising step 1: preparing a dispersion comprising hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers, and an oil having an SP value of 10 or less, and step 2: applying the dispersion prepared in the step 1 to a molded article; wherein the hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers comprise cellulose fibers having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an anionic group, hydroxyl group and mixtures thereof, and in which the cellulose fibers are bound to a functional group having a structure excluding an amino group moiety from an amino modified silicone compound. 12. A dispersion for a film, comprising hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers, and an oil having an SP value of 10 or less; wherein the hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers comprise cellulose fibers having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an anionic group, hydroxyl group and mixtures thereof, and in which the cellulose fibers are bound to a functional group having a structure excluding an amino group moiety from an amino modified silicone compound. 13. The dispersion for a film according to claim 12 , wherein the content of the oil having an SP of 10 or less is 4.0% by mass or more and 40% by mass or less. 14. The dispersion for a film according to claim 12 , wherein the content of the hydrophobically modified cellulose fibers in the dispersion for a film is 0.2% by mass or more and 15% by mass or less. 15. The film according to claim 1 , wherein the film is a slippery surface film, and wherein a sliding angle in the slippery surface film is 80° or less.
