An electrolyte solution containing a solvent. The solvent contains a compound (1) represented by the following formula (1), wherein R a , R b , R c , and R d are the same as or different from each other, and are each —H, —F, —CH 3 , or —CF 3 ; at least one of R a , R b , R c , or R d is —F or —CF 3 ; and at least one of R a , R b , R c , or R d is —CH 3 , and a compound (2) represented by the following formula (2), wherein R e is a C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group optionally containing an ether bond; R f is a C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl group optionally containing an ether bond; and at least one of R e or R f contains a fluorine atom. Also disclosed is an electrochemical device including the electrolyte solution, a lithium-ion secondary battery including the electrolyte solution and a module including the electrochemical device.

The invention claimed is: 1. An electrolyte solution comprising a solvent, the solvent containing: a compound (1); and a compound (2) represented by the following formula (2): wherein R e is a C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy group optionally containing an ether bond; R f is a C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl group optionally containing an ether bond; and at least one of R e or R f contains a fluorine atom; and wherein the compound (1) includes at least one compound of any of the following formulae (1b)-(1f): 2. The electrolyte solution according to claim 1 , wherein the compound (1) is contained in an amount of 0.001 to 99.999% by volume relative to the solvent. 3. The electrolyte solution according to claim 1 , wherein the compound (2) is contained in an amount of 0.001 to 99.999% by volume relative to the solvent. 4. The electrolyte solution according to claim 1 , further comprising an electrolyte salt. 5. An electrochemical device comprising the electrolyte solution according to claim 1 . 6. A lithium-ion secondary battery comprising the electrolyte solution according to claim 1 . 7. A module comprising the electrochemical device according to claim 5 . 8. A module comprising the lithium-ion secondary battery according to claim 6 .
