Official abstract text for this publication.
A system comprising a machine-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for collecting body measurements of a human user using a body measurement garment is provided. The body measurement garment comprises a plurality of sensors configured to produce a set of output data. The method may include receiving the set of output data from the body measurement garment and determining a plurality of body measurements from the output data. The method may further include generating a body shape model representing the shape of the body of the user. The method may also include generating a garment fit model representing the fit of a garment on the human user.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: receiving body measurements of a user measured by a body measurement garment; accessing garment information associated with a physical garment; and generating a garment fit model based on the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment and the garment information associated with the physical garment, the garment fit model comprising a three-dimensional virtual representation of the physical garment being worn by the user, wherein the garment fit model provides an indication of tightness of the physical garment on the user. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurements of the user are measured by one or more sensors of the body measurement garment while the user is wearing the body measurement garment. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising causing display of the garment fit model on a display of a computing device. 4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving user input to adjust at least one of the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment, and wherein the garment fit model is generated based at least in part on the at least one adjusted body measurements. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment includes a waist size measurement of the user. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment includes a neck size measurement of the user. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment includes an arm length measurement of the user. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurement garment resembles a shirt. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurement garment resembles a pair of pants. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the body measurement garment resembles a full-body jumpsuit. 11. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: generating a body shape model based on the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment; generating a garment model based on the garment information associated with the physical garment; and wherein the generating the garment fit model is based on a comparison of the body shape model with the garment model. 12. A tangible machine-readable storage medium embodying instructions that, when executed by a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising: receiving body measurements of a user measured by a body measurement garment; accessing garment information associated with a physical garment; and generating a garment fit model based on the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment and the garment information associated with the physical garment, the garment fit model comprising a three-dimensional virtual representation of the physical garment being worn by the user wherein the garment fit model provides an indication of tightness of the physical garment on the user. 13. The tangible machine-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the body measurements of the user are measured by one or more sensors of the body measurement garment while the user is wearing the body measurement garment. 14. The tangible machine-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the operations further comprise causing display of the garment fit model on a display of a computing device. 15. The tangible machine-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment includes a waist size measurement of the user, a neck size measurement of the user, and an arm length measurement of the user. 16. The tangible machine-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the body measurement garment resembles a shirt. 17. The tangible machine-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the body measurement garment resembles a pair of pants. 18. The tangible machine-readable storage medium of claim 12 , wherein the body measurement garment resembles a full-body jumpsuit. 19. A system comprising: at least a memory and a processor to perform operations comprising: receiving body measurements of a user measured by a body measurement garment; accessing garment information associated with a physical garment; and generating a garment fit model based on the body measurements of the user measured by the body measurement garment and the garment information associated with the physical garment, the garment fit model comprising a three-dimensional virtual representation of the physical garment being worn by the user, wherein the garment fit model provides an indication of tightness of the physical garment on the user. 20. The system of claim 19 , wherein the body measurements of the user are measured by one or more sensors of the body measurement garment while the user is wearing the body measurement garment.
