Dispensing systems (100) having wands (110) for distributing a spray away from a user include moveable wands (110), wands for locking actuation of the dispensing system (210), wands and dispensers providing gravity fed dispensing solutions (410) for battery-operated devices (500) and improved dispensers.

What is claimed is: 1. A dispensing system, comprising: a container holding a liquid product and comprising an outer surface; a dispensing unit assembled to the container, the dispensing unit comprising: at least one motor; at least one battery configured to provide power to the at least one motor; and a button configured to selectively connect the at least one battery to the at least one motor; and a wand moveable between a location adjacent the container and a location extended away from the container, comprising: a first end rotatably attached to the dispensing unit and in fluid communication with the at least one motor; and a nozzle at a second end of the wand opposite the first end, wherein the nozzle is adjacent the outer surface of the container in an “off” position. 2. The dispensing system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one motor is configured to pump the liquid product from the container, through the wand, and out the nozzle. 3. The dispensing system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one battery is a rechargeable battery. 4. The dispensing system of claim 1 , wherein the dispensing unit further comprises a battery compartment holding the at least one battery.
