The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video sent by the application server comprises one of: in a case of starting to receive video content of the first video sent by the application server, receiving the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video sent by the application server; or at a specific time point after receiving video content of the first video sent by the application server, receiving the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video sent by the application server. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein showing the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video comprises one of: displaying the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video on a playing page of the first video; or popping up a prompt bar during playing the first video, wherein the prompt bar comprises the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video. 4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving a trigger operation based on the prompt information for playing the second video associated with the first video; sending a first playing request based on the trigger operation to the application server, wherein the first playing request comprises identification information of the second video; and receiving playing information of the second video sent by the application server. 5. The method of claim 4 , wherein in a case where the playing information of the second video comprises video content of the second video, the method further comprises: playing the video content of the second video; or in a case where the playing information of the second video comprises a playing link to the second video, the method further comprises: after receiving a trigger operation on the playing link, jumping to a playing page of the second video, and playing the video content of the second video in the playing page. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein playing the video content of the second video comprises: playing entire video content starting from a start time of the second video, wherein the second video comprises entire video content segments of the first video or part of video content segments of the first video. 7.
