What is claimed is: 1. An image processing apparatus comprising: at least one memory that stores a program; and at least one processor that executes the program to perform: controlling to display a UI screen for setting a property to a scanned image which is obtained by scanning a document, wherein the displayed UI screen includes an input field that displays, as the property to be set, a connected string that is generated by connecting a plurality of character strings corresponding to a plurality of character areas selected from character areas which are detected from the scanned image; responding to detection of a user operation to the input field in a state where the connected string is displayed, by displaying, as an editing target, one character string specified from among the plurality of character strings included in the displayed connected string based on the user operation, wherein character strings other than the specified one character string in the displayed connected string are not displayed as the editing target; and setting of the property to the scanned image by using the connected string displayed in the input field after the editing of the specified one character string. 2. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a touch panel, wherein in a case where the user operation to the input field is a touch operation to one of the plurality of character string included in the connected string displayed in the input field on the touch panel, the specified one character string is the character string for which the touch operation has been performed. 3. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a touch panel, wherein in a case where the user operation to the input field is a touch operation to a blank area in the input field on the touch panel, the specified one character string is a last character string included in the connected string displayed in the input field and a separator attached before the last character string. 4. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein in response to the detection of the user operation to the input field in a state where the connected string is displayed, only the one character string specified based on the user operation is displayed as the editing target on a soft keyboard, and wherein the property to the scanned image is set by using the connected string displayed in the input field after the editing of the specified one character string with the soft keyboard. 5. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein in response to the detection of the user operation to the input field in a state where the connected string is being displayed, all of the plurality of character strings included in the connected string are displayed on a soft keyboard, and wherein a range of the one character string specified based on the user operation is further displayed in an identifiable manner as the editing target on the soft keyboard. 6. The image processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the property is a file name in a case where a scanned image is to be filed. 7. A control method of an image processing apparatus, the control method comprising: controlling to display a UI screen for setting a property to a scanned image which is obtained by scanning a document, wherein the displayed UI screen includes an input field that displays, as the property to be set, a connected string that is generated by connecting a plurality of character strings corresponding to a plurality of character areas selected from character areas which are detected from the scanned image; responding to detection of a user operation to the input field in a state where the connected string is displayed, by displaying, as an editing target, one character string specified from among the plurality of character strings included in the displayed connected string based on the user operation, wherein character strings other than the specified one character string in the displayed connected string are not displayed as the editing target; and setting of the property to the scanned image by using the connected string displayed in the input field after the editing of the specified one character string. 8. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to perform: controlling to display a UI screen for setting a property to a scanned image which is obtained by scanning a document, wherein the displayed UI screen includes an input field that displays, as the property to be set, a connected string that is generated by connecting a plurality of character strings corresponding to a plurality of character areas selected from character areas which are detected from the scanned image; responding to detection of a user operation to the input field in a state where the connected string is displayed, by displaying, as an editing target, one character string specified from among the plurality of character strings included in the displayed connected string based on the user operation, wherein character strings other than the specified one character string in the displayed connected string are not displayed as the editing target; and setting of the property to the scanned image by using the connected string displayed in the input field after the editing of the specified one character string.
