What is claimed is: 1. A method, comprising: obtaining a display case door attached to a refrigerated display case, the display case door comprising i) an insulated panel assembly transparent to visible light, ii) a door frame extending about and secured to a peripheral edge of the insulated panel assembly, and iii) an electronic display attached to the door frame, the electronic display overlaying the insulated panel assembly; removing the electronic display from the display case door, exposing the insulated panel assembly; and attaching, with the electronic display removed from the display case door, a frame cover to the door frame, the frame cover sized to overlay, when attached to the door frame, at least part of the door frame. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the frame cover comprises a front trim sized to cover, when attached to the door frame, a front surface of the door frame and terminate at the front surface of the insulated panel assembly, and the attaching of the frame cover comprises securing the front trim to the front surface of the door frame. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the front trim comprises a first longitudinal flange and a second longitudinal flange extending from the first longitudinal flange, and the attaching comprises attaching the front trim to the door frame such that the first longitudinal flange covers the front surface of the door frame and the second longitudinal flange covers a longitudinal gap defined between the front surface of the door frame and the front surface of the insulated panel assembly. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the second longitudinal flange extends, in cross-section, at an angle with respect to the first longitudinal flange, and the attaching comprises attaching the front trim to the door frame such that, in front view, the second longitudinal flange forms a beveled surface defined between the front surface of the insulated panel assembly and the front surface of the door frame. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the display case door further comprises a cover bezel coupled to a front surface of the door frame, the method further comprising removing the cover bezel from the display case door by removing one or more mechanical fasteners, and the attaching of the frame cover comprises securing the frame cover to the door frame with the one or more mechanical fasteners. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the one or more mechanical fasteners are attached, with the cover bezel coupled to the door frame, to the front surface of the door frame and the attaching comprises securing, with the one or more mechanical fasteners extending through the frame cover and the front surface of the door frame, the frame cover to the door frame. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the attaching comprises attaching, with the display case door attached to the refrigerated display case, the frame cover to the door frame. 8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising, after the attaching of the frame cover: removing the frame cover from the door frame; and attaching the electronic display or a second electronic display to the door frame of the display case door such that the electronic display or second electronic display overlays the insulated panel assembly. 9. A method, comprising: obtaining a display case door attached to a refrigerated display case, the display case door comprising i) an insulated panel assembly transparent to visible light, ii) a door frame extending about and secured to a peripheral edge of the insulated panel assembly, iii) an electronic display attached to the door frame, the electronic display overlaying the insulated panel assembly, and iv) a cover bezel coupled to a front surface of the door frame, the cover bezel sized to overlay the front surface of the door frame; removing the cover bezel from the display case door; removing the electronic display from the display case door, exposing the insulated panel assembly; mounting a second electronic display to the door frame of the display case door such that the second electronic display overlays the insulated panel assembly; and attaching the cover bezel to the front surface of the door frame such that the cover bezel overlays the front surface of the door frame. 10. A method, comprising: obtaining a display case door attached to a refrigerated display case, the display case door comprising i) an insulated panel assembly transparent to visible light, ii) a door frame extending about and secured to a peripheral edge of the insulated panel assembly, iii) an electronic display releasably attached to the door frame and external to the insulated panel assembly, the electronic display overlaying the insulated panel assembly; iv) at least one display retainer secured to the door frame and having a coupling end that mates with the electronic display to releasably secure the electronic display to the door frame, and v) a cover bezel coupled to a front surface of the door frame, the cover bezel sized to overlay the front surface of the door frame and the coupling end of the at least one display retainer; removing the cover bezel from the display case door; removing the electronic display from the display case door by removing the at least one display retainer from the display case door, exposing the insulated panel assembly; and attaching, with the electronic display removed from the display case door, a frame cover to the door frame, the frame cover sized to overlay, when attached to the door frame, at least part of the door frame. 11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the frame cover comprises a front trim sized to cover, when attached to the door frame, the front surface of the door frame and terminate at the front surface of the insulated panel assembly, and the attaching of the frame cover comprises securing the front trim to the front surface of the door frame. 12. The method of claim 11 , wherein the front trim comprises a first longitudinal flange and a second longitudinal flange extending from the first longitudinal flange, and the attaching comprises attaching the front trim to the door frame such that the first longitudinal flange covers the front surface of the door frame and the second longitudinal flange covers a longitudinal gap defined between the front surface of the door frame and the front surface of the insulated panel assembly. 13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the second longitudinal flange extends, in cross-section, at an angle with respect to the first longitudinal flange, and the attaching comprises attaching the front trim to the door frame such that, in front view, the second longitudinal flange forms a beveled surface defined between the front surface of the insulated panel assembly and the front surface of the door frame. 14. The method of claim 10 , wherein removing the cover bezel comprises removing one or more mechanical fasteners and the attaching of the frame cover comprises securing, with the one or more mechanical fasteners, the frame cover to the door frame. 15. The method of claim 10 , wherein the frame cover is sized to cover, when attached to the door frame, a longitudinal gap of the door frame defined between the front surface of the door frame and the front surface of the panel assembly, and the attaching of the frame cover comprises at least one of i) securing the frame cover to the front surface of the door frame, or ii) securing the frame cover to an inner surface of the door frame to cover the longitudinal opening of the door frame. 16.
