The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising at least one light. 10. The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the light is a flashlight arranged on at least one of the first external component and the second external component. 11. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising an on/off switch arranged on the first external component. 12. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the second external component comprises a closed top end and an opened bottom end so as to define an internal cavity, and wherein the bottom end of the second external component has at least one protrusion arranged within the internal cavity, the protrusion being arranged to align with the on/off switch and shut off the apparatus in the closed position. 13. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the second external component is self-aligning with the first external component. 14. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the second external component comprises a closed top end and an opened bottom end so as to define an internal cavity, and wherein a storage compartment is formed in the internal cavity about the closed top end. 15. The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a mirror. 16. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the central component defines a cavity enclosed by the first external component, and further comprising: a motor arranged within the cavity; a shaft coupled to the motor, the shaft being an elongated polygon configured to interface with the shaving device; and a power source, the power source being a rechargeable battery.
