That which is claimed is: 1. A sealing device for an air valve, the sealing device comprising: a seat; a valve device configured to seal against the seat; a first contacting portion; and a second contacting portion; wherein a distance measured parallel to a central axis of the sealing device between a first mating surface of the sealing device and the first contacting portion is shorter than a distance measured parallel to the central axis of the sealing device between a second mating surface of the sealing device and the second contacting portion, the first mating surface defined by one of the seat and the valve device and the second mating surface defined by another of the seat and the valve device, a first gap defined between the first contacting portion and the first mating surface and a second gap defined between the second contacting portion and the second mating surface in an open position of the sealing device, the first contacting portion configured to contact the first mating surface and the second contacting portion configured to contact the second mating surface in a sealing position of the sealing device. 2. The sealing device of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first contacting portion and the second contacting portion comprises an O-ring. 3. The sealing device of claim 2 , wherein the O-ring defines a circular cross-section. 4. The sealing device of claim 1 , wherein a material hardness of the second contacting portion is greater than a material hardness of the first contacting portion. 5. The sealing device of claim 1 , wherein the valve device is a poppet comprising; a disc-shaped portion defining a top surface and a bottom surface; a lower guide shaft extending from the bottom surface and defining a bottom end of the poppet; and an upper guide shaft extending from the top surface and defining a top end of the poppet. 6. The sealing device of claim 5 , wherein each of the disc-shaped portion, the upper guide shaft, and the lower guide shaft define a bore extending from the bottom end of the poppet to the top end of the poppet. 7. The sealing device of claim 1 , further comprising a third contacting portion, a material hardness of the third contacting portion being greater than a material hardness of the first contacting portion and greater than a material hardness of the second contacting portion. 8. An air valve comprising: a valve body defining an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface and the outer surface defining an inlet and an outlet; the sealing device of claim 1 mounted within the valve body; and a float moveable within the valve body, separate from the valve device, and engageable with the valve device; the float having a first sealing position and a second sealing position, the second sealing position of the float corresponding to the sealing position of the sealing device, the first contacting portion but not the second contacting portion contacting a mating surface of the sealing device when the float is in the first sealing position, the first contacting portion contacting a first mating surface of the sealing device and the second contacting portion contacting a second mating surface of the sealing device when the float is in the second sealing position. 9. The air valve of claim 8 , wherein the air valve is a combination air valve. 10. The air valve of claim 8 , wherein the valve device is configured to move in a linear path inside the valve body along the central axis of the valve device. 11. The air valve of claim 8 , wherein the first contacting portion is received within a first groove defined within a one of the seat and the valve device. 12. The air valve of claim 11 , wherein the second contacting portion is received within a second groove defined within another of the seat and the valve device. 13. A sealing device for an air valve, the sealing device comprising: a seat; a valve device configured to seal against the seat, the valve device being a poppet and comprising a guide shaft defining a bore extending from a bottom end of the poppet to a top end of the poppet; and a lever arm comprising a button, the lever arm removably coupled to the poppet, and the lever arm configured to engage with and seal the bore of the poppet, the button comprising: a first contacting portion; and a second contacting portion, wherein a material hardness of the second contacting portion is greater than a material hardness of the first contacting portion. 14. The sealing device of claim 13 , wherein the button further comprises a button surround defining the second contacting portion and receiving the first contacting portion, the bottom end of the poppet defining a first contact surface and a second contact surface. 15. The sealing device of claim 14 , wherein a distance measured parallel to a central axis of the sealing device between the first contact surface of the bottom end of the poppet and the first contacting portion is shorter than a distance measured parallel to the central axis of the sealing device between the second contact surface of the bottom end of the poppet and the second contacting portion. 16. The sealing device of claim 15 , wherein the bottom end of the poppet further defines a third contact surface and the button further comprises a third contacting portion, a distance measured parallel to the central axis of the sealing device between the third contact surface of the bottom end of the poppet and the third contacting portion being greater than a distance measured parallel to the central axis of the sealing device between the second contact surface of the bottom end of the poppet and the second contacting portion. 17. A method for venting air from a fluid system, the method comprising: engaging a valve device of an air valve installed on the fluid system with a lever arm, the air valve comprising: a valve body defining an inlet and an outlet; a sealing device mounted inside the valve body, the sealing device comprising a first contacting portion and a second contacting portion and further comprising a first mating surface and a second mating surface; the lever arm coupled to the valve body; and a float coupled to the lever arm moveable within the valve body, a first gap defined between the first contacting portion and the first mating surface and a second gap defined between the second contacting portion and the second mating surface in an open position of the air valve; moving the float to a first sealing position, the first mating surface of the sealing device contacting the first contacting portion but not the second contacting portion when the float is in the first sealing position; and moving the float to a second sealing position, the second mating surface of the sealing device contacting the second contacting portion when the float is in the second sealing position. 18. The method of claim 17 , wherein each of moving the float to the first sealing position and moving the float to the second sealing position comprises rotating the lever arm about a pivot, the float coupled to the lever arm, a material hardness of the second contacting portion being greater than a material hardness of the first contacting portion. 19.
