The invention claimed is: 1. A removable seat assembly for a vehicle, the assembly comprising: a base assembly; a seat dolly including a plurality of wheels for moving the seat assembly from a first position to a second position; a hook extending from the seat dolly; a latch assembly having a mechanical actuator rotatably coupled to the hook; a floor base assembly including a recess to receive the hook, the floor base assembly defining a substantially planar surface for receiving the plurality of wheels of the seat dolly as the seat assembly is moved from the first position to the second position; and a front portion extending upwardly with respect to the floor base assembly, the front portion having a mounting bracket configured to releasably lock the seat dolly to the floor base assembly. 2. The removable seat assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a riser portion configured to support a seat. 3. The removable seat assembly of claim 2 , further comprising a frame structure coupled to and supporting the riser portion, the frame structure defining a first generally planar surface configured to support a floor section. 4. The removable seat assembly of claim 3 , further comprising a rod extending across and rotatably supported by the frame structure. 5. The removable seat assembly of claim 4 , further comprising a seat actuator coupled to the rod, the seat actuator being configured to selectively engage the hook to a pin of the floor base assembly. 6. The removable seat assembly of claim 5 , wherein a portion of the rod extends into and is supported by a stiffener bracket coupled to the frame structure. 7. The removable seat assembly of claim 1 , further comprising a pair of extension arms configured to engage a pair of pins on the mounting bracket. 8. The removable seat assembly of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of wheels is mounted to a swivel caster. 9. The removable seat assembly of claim 1 wherein the mounting bracket includes a receiver to receive the seat dolly. 10. The removable seat assembly of claim 9 wherein the seat dolly includes a projection to engage the receiver to position the seat dolly in place with the floor base assembly. 11. The removable seat assembly of claim 10 wherein the receiver includes a pin and the projection engages the pin. 12. The removable seat assembly of claim 11 wherein the projection includes a resilient member having a channel to engage the pin. 13. The removable seat assembly of claim 10 wherein one of the plurality of wheels is a caster mounted wheel to enable alignment of the seat assembly seat dolly with respect to the floor base assembly. 14. The removable seat base assembly of claim 10 wherein the recess of the floor base assembly includes a floor base pin to receive the hook and the mounting bracket includes a mounting bracket pin to receive the projection. 15. The removable seat base assembly of claim 14 wherein the floor base pin is aligned generally parallel to the mounting bracket pin. 16. The removable seat base assembly of claim 15 wherein the front portion extends substantially perpendicular to the substantially planar surface of the floor base assembly.
