Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A light-emitting element containing a fluorescent material and having high emission efficiency is provided. The light-emitting element contains the fluorescent material and a host material. The host material contains a first organic compound and a second organic compound. The first organic compound and the second organic compound can form an exciplex. The proportion of a delayed fluorescence component in light emitted from the exciplex is higher than or equal to 5%, and the delayed fluorescence component contains a delayed fluorescence component whose fluorescence lifetime is 10 ns or longer and 50 μs or shorter.

What is claimed is: 1. A light-emitting element comprising: a light-emitting layer, the light-emitting layer comprising: a layer where a first organic material is mixed with a second organic material; wherein a singlet excited energy level of the first organic material is higher than a triplet excited energy level of the first organic material by less than 0.2 eV, wherein the second organic material converts singlet excitation energy into light emission, wherein an emission peak of the first organic material overlaps with a lowest energy absorption band of the second organic material, wherein at room temperature an emission of the first organic material includes a delayed fluorescence component, and wherein at room temperature a proportion of the delayed fluorescence component in the emission of the first organic material is higher than or equal to 5%. 2. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein the singlet excited energy level of the first organic material is higher than the triplet excited energy level of the first organic material by less than 0.1 eV. 3. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein a fluorescence quantum yield of the second organic material is 50% or more. 4. The light-emitting element according to claim 1 , wherein the first organic material comprises a first organic compound and a second organic compound. 5.
