Official abstract text for this publication.
The present technology relates to a display module which enables the display module capable of improving a design quality of a product to be applied to various types of products. The display module is provided with a flexible sheet-shaped display unit, a switch unit which switches a display pattern of the display unit, and a control unit which controls a display pattern of the display unit on the basis of a switch control signal from the switch unit. The display unit is electrically connected to the control unit, and the control unit is electrically connected to the switch unit by using a wiring cable. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a bag and the like a display pattern of which may be changed.

The invention claimed is: 1. A display module comprising: a sheet-shaped display having flexibility and including a front surface and a rear surface; a switch unit configured to switch a display pattern of the display; a control unit configured to control the display pattern of the display based on a switch control signal from the switch unit; and an acceleration sensor configured to detect acceleration on a plurality of axes and output the detected acceleration to the control unit as a sensor signal, wherein the control unit is further configured to determine the display pattern of the display based on random values generated from absolute values of the detected acceleration of the sensor signal, wherein the display is electrically connected to the control unit, and the control unit is electrically connected to the switch unit by using a wiring cable, and wherein the switch unit and the control unit are each implemented via at least one processor. 2. The display module according to claim 1 , further comprising: another sensor configured to output a detected value as another sensor signal, wherein the control unit is further configured to determine the display pattern of the display based on the detected value of the another sensor signal, and wherein the another sensor includes at least one of a temperature sensor or an illuminance sensor. 3. The display module according to claim 2 , further comprising: a battery box electrically connected to the display, wherein the battery box includes a battery, the switch unit, the control unit, and the another sensor, wherein the another sensor is the temperature sensor, wherein the temperature sensor detects a temperature of the battery box and outputs the detected temperature as the another sensor signal, and wherein the control unit is further configured to determine the display pattern of the display based on the detected temperature of the another sensor signal. 4. The display module according to claim 1 , further comprising: a mode switch unit configured to switch between a first operation mode for switching the display pattern based on the switch control signal from the switch unit and a second operation mode for switching the display pattern based on the sensor signal, wherein the mode switch unit is implemented via at least one processor. 5. The display module according to claim 1 , wherein the display includes a plurality of snap buttons provided as a connecting unit for connecting to a main body upper portion of a bag and a main body bottom portion of the bag, and wherein the plurality of snap buttons connect to the main body upper portion of the bag and the main body bottom portion of the bag at a pocket portion of the bag to form a pocket. 6. The display module according to claim 5 , wherein the display includes a non-display area of which display does not change by control by the control unit, wherein the display includes a display area of which display does change by control by the control unit, wherein the display includes the display area and the non-display area around the display area, and wherein the connecting unit is formed in only the non-display area.
