A side shelf system configured to couple to a portable cooking station. The side shelf system includes a side shelf and a cutting board. The side shelf includes an upper surface that defines a rectangular opening therein. The side shelf includes at least two extensions that extend from the opening, each extension having a ledge. The cutting board is sized to be positioned in the rectangular opening, the cutting board having an upward facing surface with a through hole defined therein. The cutting board includes a depth such that, upon positioning the cutting board over the ledge, the upward facing surface of the cutting board is substantially flush with the upper surface of the side shelf.

What is claimed is: 1. An outdoor cooking station for managing waste with a waste bag associated therewith, the outdoor cooking station comprising: a main body with a frame structure, the main body having a front panel with oppositely positioned first and second panels positioned over the frame structure, the front panel having one or more knobs disposed thereon for controlling heating element structure within the main body; and a side shelf system including: a side shelf configured to be coupled adjacent the first panel of the main body, the side shelf including an upper flat surface that defines an opening therein, the opening defining at least two extensions that extend downward from the opening, the at least two extensions having a ledge at a lower end of the at least two extensions, the ledge extending inward relative to the opening; a cutting board sized and configured to be positioned in the opening to rest on the ledge, the cutting board having an upward facing surface with a through hole defined therein such that the through hole is surrounded by the cutting board; and multiple hook structures operatively coupled to the frame structure and extending below the side shelf; wherein the multiple hook structures are sized and configured to hold the waste bag directly below the through hole of the cutting board such that the through hole is sized and positioned for receiving waste to be passed therethrough so that the waste falls into the waste bag held by the hook structures. 2. The cooking station of claim 1 , further comprising a holder device configured to be operatively coupled to the frame structure, the holder device having an elongated rod structure with a free end such that the elongated portion extends substantially horizontal relative to the upper flat surface of the side shelf and below the side shelf and the free end extending upward above the substantially horizontally extending elongated rod structure. 3. The cooking station of claim 1 , wherein the multiple hook structures are coupled to an underside of the side shelf, the multiple hook structures having a j-shaped configuration. 4. The cooking station of claim 3 , wherein the multiple hook structures are coupled adjacent the ledge of the at least two extensions such that oppositely positioned hook structures face outward relative to each other. 5. The cooking station of claim 1 , further comprising a food pan having a lip extending along an upper side of the food pan, the food pan sized and configured to be positioned through the opening such that the lip is positionable onto the ledge with the cutting board positionable over the lip of the food pan. 6. The cooking station of claim 1 , wherein the side shelf comprises a first extension and a second extension, the first and second extensions sized to couple to first and second sleeves, respectively, of the frame structure of the main body. 7. The cooking station of claim 1 , wherein the side shelf includes a bottle opener device fixed thereto. 8. A side shelf system configured to be associated with a waste bag, the side shelf system for coupling to a frame structure of a portable outdoor cooking station, the side shelf system comprising: a side shelf configured to be coupled to the cooking station, the side shelf including an upper flat surface that defines an opening therein, the opening defining at least two extensions that extend downward from the opening, the at least two extensions having a ledge at a lower end of the at least two extensions, the ledge extending inward relative to the opening; a cutting board sized and configured to be positioned in the opening, the cutting board having an upward facing surface with a through hole defined therein such that the through hole is surrounded by the cutting board; and multiple hook structures configured to be operatively coupled to the frame structure of the portable outdoor cooking station and extending below the side shelf; wherein the multiple hook structures are sized and configured to hold the waste bag directly below the through hole of the cutting board such that the through hole is sized and positioned for receiving waste to be passed therethrough so that the waste falls into the waste bag held by the hook structures. 9. The side shelf system of claim 8 , further comprising a holder device configured to be fixedly coupled so as to extend below an underside of the side shelf, the holder device having an elongated rod structure with a free end extending substantially horizontally relative to the upper flat surface of the side shelf and the free end extending upward above the substantially horizontally extending elongated rod structure. 10. The side shelf system of claim 8 , wherein the multiple hook structures are coupled to an underside of the side shelf, the multiple hook structures having a j-shaped configuration. 11. The side shelf system of claim 8 , wherein the side shelf comprises a first frame extension and a second frame extension each extending below and from the upper flat surface, the first and second frame extensions sized to couple to first and second frame portions, respectively, of the cooking station. 12. The side shelf system of claim 8 , further comprising a food pan having a lip extending along an upper side of the food pan, the food pan sized and configured to be positioned through the opening such that the lip is positionable onto the ledge with the cutting board positionable over the lip of the food pan. 13. The side shelf system of claim 8 , wherein the side shelf includes a bottle opener device fixed thereto. 14. A portable outdoor cooking station for managing waste with a waste bag associated therewith, the portable outdoor cooking station comprising: a main body with a frame structure, the main body configured to hold heating element structure therewith, the main body having at least two wheels at a base of the main body to facilitate portability of the main body; and a side shelf system including: a side shelf configured to be coupled to the frame structure of the main body, the side shelf including an upper flat surface that defines an opening therein with a ledge coupled to the side shelf and extending inward below and relative to the opening; a cutting board sized and configured to be positioned within the opening so as to rest on the ledge, the cutting board having an upward facing surface with a through hole defined therein so as to be surrounded by the cutting board; and multiple hook structures operatively coupled to the frame structure and extending below the side shelf, the multiple hook structures sized and configured to hold the waste bag directly below the through hole of the cutting board such that the through hole is sized and positioned for receiving waste to be passed therethrough so that the waste falls into the waste bag held by the hook structures. 15. The cooking station of claim 14 , further comprising a holder device configured to be operatively coupled to the frame structure of the main body, the holder device having an elongated rod structure with a free end extending substantially horizontally relative to the upper flat surface of the side shelf and extending below an underside of side shelf and the free end extending upward above the substantially horizontally extending elongated rod structure. 16.
