A method of producing a tablet in which an uncoated tablet is coated by a coating agent, the method including: a coating process of coating uncoated tablets with a coating agent by spray coating the coating agent onto tablets that are churned and tumbled inside a container, and drying the tablets inside the container by supplying drying air into the container and exhausting air from the container, wherein spray coating conditions, including air supply temperature, air supply rate, and spray speed, are controlled according to the weight of the coating agent with which the uncoated tablets are coated, such that the humidity of air exhausted during spray coating is within a range of from 14% RH to 30% RH.

The invention claimed is: 1. A tablet comprising a uniquely identifiable random undulating shape on a tablet surface, the tablet produced by a method comprising: a coating process of coating uncoated tablets with a coating agent by spray coating the coating agent onto tablets that are churned and tumbled inside a container, and drying the tablets inside the container by supplying drying air into the container and exhausting air from the container, wherein the uniquely identifiable random undulating shape is generated on the tablet surface by controlling spray coating conditions, including air supply temperature, air supply rate, and spray speed according to a weight of the coating agent with which the uncoated tablets are coated, such that a humidity of air exhausted during spray coating is within a range of from 14% RH to 30% RH, wherein a moisture content of the tablet is in a range of 1.3% to 2.3% by weight of the tablet, wherein generating the uniquely identifiable random undulating shape on the tablet surface comprises controlling the moisture content of the tablet by controlling, among the spray coating conditions, the humidity of the air exhausted during spray coating to be within the range of from 14% RH to 30% RH and by controlling, among the spray coating conditions, the air supply temperature to be at 60° C. after supplying an input air at 60° C. until the exhausted air is at 45° C., wherein the tablet surface, having the uniquely identifiable random undulating shape thereon, is a surface of the coating agent as applied to the tablet, and wherein the tablet surface further comprises a printed identifier printed thereon after generation of the uniquely identifiable random undulating shape and separate from the uniquely identifiable random undulating shape.
