The invention claimed is: 1. A chair component, comprising: a shell member including a plurality of frame portions that cooperate with one another to define an open space therebetween, wherein the frame portions are a single, integral piece; a cover having a first surface adapted to support a seated user and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the cover is positioned over the shell member to cover at least a portion of the open space; and a ring-shaped stay member including a plurality of attachment portions and a plurality of reliefs interspaced with the attachment portions, wherein at least one of the attachment portions is secured to the first surface of the cover such that the at least one of the attachment portions is fixed for rotation with the cover along a longitudinal axis of the at least one of the attachment portions, and wherein a width of at least one of the reliefs along a longitudinal axis of the at least one of the reliefs is reduced as the stay member is wrapped about the shell member. 2. The chair component of claim 1 , wherein the shell member includes a back shell member of a back assembly configured to support the back of a seated user. 3. The chair component of claim 1 , wherein first frame portion includes a laterally extending top portion, the second frame portion includes a laterally extending bottom portion, and the third and fourth frame portions include a pair of longitudinally extending side portions, respectively, extending between the top portion and the bottom portion. 4. The chair component of claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises an elastomeric material. 5. The chair component of claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises a mesh fabric. 6. The chair component of claim 1 , wherein the shell member includes a channel extending along at least one of the frame portions that receives the stay member therein. 7. The chair component of claim 1 , wherein the cover member is stretched over the shell member. 8. An office chair assembly comprising the chair component of claim 1 . 9. A seating arrangement, comprising: a seat assembly configured to support a seated user; a back assembly extending upward from the seat assembly and movable between an upright position and a reclined position; at least one biasing member having a first end and second end; and a control arrangement configured to allow a user to adjust the at least one biasing member between a first configuration where the at least one biasing member exerts a first biasing force on the back assembly and a second configuration where the at least one biasing member exerts a second biasing force on the back assembly that is greater than the first biasing force, the second end of the at least one biasing member traveling through an arcuate path as the at least one biasing member is moved between the first and second configurations, wherein the second end of the at least one biasing member is coupled to a first end of an arm and a second end of the arm is pivotably coupled to a base structure adapted to be attached to a ground-abutting base support structure. 10. The seating arrangement of claim 9 , wherein the seat assembly is pivotably coupled to a base structure for rotation about a first pivot point, and wherein a back assembly is pivotably coupled to the base structure for rotation about a second pivot point, the base structure adapted to be attached to a ground-abutting base support structure. 11. The seating arrangement of claim 10 , wherein the back assembly includes a back support structure pivotably coupled to the base structure for rotation about the second pivot point, and a flexible back support operably coupled to the back support structure and configured to support a seated user, wherein a curvature of the back support structure changes as the back assembly is moved between the upright and reclined positions. 12. The seating arrangement of claim 10 , wherein the at least one biasing member exerts a biasing torque about the second pivot point, wherein the biasing torque is adjustable between first and second magnitudes when the back support structure is in the upright position, and wherein the second magnitude is greater than the first magnitude.
