Provided is an enclosure with an integrated hydrant. The enclosure includes a fluid flow conduit that transfers fluid from a fluid supply tube to a fluid outlet, which may be associated with the backflow preventer. The enclosure has a conduit that carries water from the fluid supply tube to the backflow preventer. Thus, a lower profile, lighter, and more aesthetically pleasing enclosure is provided.

What is claimed is: 1. A hydrant comprising: a housing; a fluid supply and control tube coupled to the housing, and wherein the fluid supply and control tube comprises a valve for controlling fluid flow therethrough; a plate having a perimeter edge coupled to the housing opposite of the fluid supply and control tube; a stem screw assembly disposed at least partially within the fluid supply and control tube and at least partially projecting from the plate opposite the housing; a hinge plate comprising a first edge and an opposite second edge, the first edge coupled to the plate and extending at least partially along the perimeter edge, and the second edge defining at least a portion of a hinge, wherein the hinge plate extends orthogonal from the plate such that the hinge is raised relative to the plate; and a door coupled to the hinge plate at the hinge and disposed opposite of the housing, wherein the door comprises a door plate and a lip extending at least partially around a perimeter of the door plate, and wherein when the door is in a closed position: an interior cavity is defined by the hinge plate, the hinge, the door plate, and the lip, wherein the interior cavity receives a portion of the at least partially projecting stem screw assembly; and the door plate is substantially parallel to the plate and spaced from the plate and the at least partially projecting stem screw assembly. 2. The hydrant of claim 1 , wherein the hinge plate is integral with the plate. 3. The hydrant of claim 1 , wherein a plurality of fasteners couple the plate to the housing. 4. The hydrant of claim 3 , wherein the hinge plate is coupled to the plate via one or more of the plurality of fasteners. 5. The hydrant of claim 1 , wherein the door comprises a lock. 6. The hydrant of claim 1 , further comprising a backflow preventer extending from the plate, wherein when the door is in the closed position, the backflow preventer is disposed within the interior cavity. 7. The hydrant of claim 1 , wherein the at least partially projecting stem screw assembly extends past the hinge. 8. A hydrant comprising: a substantially flat plate comprising a first surface and an opposite second surface, and wherein the substantially flat plate is substantially rectangular-shaped and comprises opposing first and second edges, and opposing first and second lateral edges, a backflow preventer extending a first distance from the first surface of the substantially flat plate; a housing for a fluid supply and control tube, wherein the housing is coupled to the second surface of the substantially flat plate; a hinge plate coupled to one of the first and second edges or the first and second lateral edges of the substantially flat plate, wherein a free edge of the hinge plate defines at least a portion of a hinge, and wherein the hinge plate extends a second distance that is orthogonal to the substantially flat plate such that the hinge is raised relative to the substantially flat plate; and a door hingedly coupled to the hinge plate at the hinge and disposed adjacent the first surface, wherein the door comprises a door plate and a lip that extends a third distance, and wherein when the door is in a closed position: an interior cavity is defined by the hinge plate, the hinge, the door plate, and the lip, wherein the interior cavity receives a portion of the extending backflow preventor; and the second distance of the hinge plate being less than the first distance of the backflow preventor such that the backflow preventor extends into the interior cavity past the hinge; and the third distance of the lip being greater than the first distance of the backflow preventor such that the lip spaces the door plate from the substantially flat plate and the backflow preventor. 9. The hydrant of claim 8 , wherein the hinge plate is integral with one of the first and second lateral edges of the substantially flat plate. 10. The hydrant of claim 8 , wherein the hinge plate is disposed along one of the first and second lateral edges of the substantially flat plate and is coupled to the substantially flat plate via one or more fasteners. 11. The hydrant of claim 8 , wherein the lip conceals both the first and second edges and one of the first and second lateral edges of the substantially flat plate. 12. The hydrant of claim 8 , further comprising the fluid supply and control tube coupled to the housing. 13. The hydrant of claim 8 , wherein the door comprises a lock. 14. A hydrant enclosure comprising: a plate comprising a perimeter edge, a first surface, and an opposite second surface, and wherein the second surface is configured to receive a housing for a fluid supply and control tube; a first aperture defined in the plate; a second aperture defined in the plate; a stem screw assembly received at least partially within the first aperture and projecting from the first surface of the plate; a backflow preventor received at least partially within the second aperture and projecting a first distance from the first surface of the plate; a hinge plate comprising a first edge and an opposite second edge, the first edge coupled to the plate and extending at least partially along the perimeter edge, and the second edge defining at least a portion of a hinge, wherein the hinge plate extends a second distance that is orthogonal from the plate such that the hinge is raised relative to the plate; and a door hingedly coupled to the hinge plate at the hinge and disposed adjacent the first surface, wherein the door comprises a door plate having a lip that extends a third distance, and wherein when the door is in a closed position: the door plate is substantially parallel to the plate and spaced from the plate, the stem screw assembly, and the backflow preventor; and the second distance of the hinge plate being less than the first distance of the backflow preventor and the third distance of the lip being greater than the first distance of the backflow preventor, such that at least a portion of the backflow preventor extends past the hinge and into an interior cavity defined by the hinge, the door plate, and the lip. 15. The hydrant enclosure of claim 14 , wherein the hinge plate is integral to the plate. 16. The hydrant enclosure of claim 14 , wherein the hinge plate is removable from the plate. 17. The hydrant enclosure of claim 14 , wherein the hinge plate is associated with a lateral edge of the plate.
